I am gonna say Flopnuts. He tries everything (at least) once.

The only 2 things that have piqued my interest in pizza crust in all my years on Earth are;

1. Racanelli's dough/crust
or
2. Papa John's garlic butter sauce.

Interestingly, I saw an advertisement for this monstrosity the other day.

Their Primo Meats pizza is pretty decent. Not their standard sauce makes a big difference.

I don't think it's wrong at all. I like the crust. I like dipping the crust in whatever you have on hand that you would otherwise dip breadsticks into. I even like the shitty five dollar pizza with the breadsticks where they give you a little plastic bucket of sauce. I'll dip the crust into the sauce. I'm just saying why not slather the toppings all the way to the side of the pizza rather than trying to fill the edge with stuff?

This guy has been pretty spot on in my experience. I stopped eating Pizza Hut a long time ago. Back in the early 90's I got it for free. I worked at a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut was right next door. We were both owned by Pepsi so they'd honor my management discount (free), and they'd give us their mistake pizzas at night. That was around 25 years ago and I don't think I've had it since.

I had the first incarnation of Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pizza in 1996(?) in a motel in Buffalo NY. I also had a Zima for the first time. The worst night of my life(Pizza Hut, Buffalo, Zima)...

That wasn't "cheese". It was a weird white fluid that congealed within seconds of exposure to the air and tasted nothing like "cheese".

Like you, I haven't had Pizza Hut (or Zima) in at least 20 years and I have no plans of going back to Buffalo. Times are good.

Hard to imagine having pizza hut and then thinking "man I needed more cheese on that thing" prob a pass for me. Would try it if it was offered I suppose.

The 'innovation' here is that the crust is Cheddar/American gooey cheese, like you traditionally put on a grilled cheese/white bread sandwich. As opposed to whatever Mozzerella franken-mix they put on their pizzas.

What would possess anyone to eat at Pizza Hut?

It's much better than their regular stuffed crust pizza.

Their stuffed crust pizza used to be at least decent. Hadn't ordered it in a while....so I ordered one one night while the wife was out of town. Shit was barely edible. Plastic crust....no flavor. Won't be ordering Pizza Hut ever again.

Pizza hut was good in the 80s. The low quality of ingredients has made it terrible now. Dominos is to blame for the decline of pizza in thos country.

Pizza Hut's rank is just above Domino's, Little Caesar's, and Chucky Cheeze on the scale, which isn't saying much.

Bad, chewy crust. Terrible sauce (I actually prefer LC's). Rubber-like sausage. Some gooey substance they call "cheese." Yuck.

I remember the first time I had Dominoes, it was in Warrensburg when I was visiting my aunt in the 80's. I thought it was great, but maybe because it was or because I was a hungry teenager. Not so much anymore.

Towns like mine where the only restaurant pizza available is Little Caesars, Dominos, or Pizza Hut.

Not within take-out distance. Would have to drive a half-hour into the city.

Used to love pizza hut. They went progressively downhill ever since Pepsi bought them. My cousin was a delivery driver for them back in college and turned me off for good when he told me one morning they caught an employee making love to the pan dough.
