Is it time for new moderation?
 

Just for discussion's sake....some people believe the moderation is negatively affecting the quality of the site. Other's believe the moderation is part of the sites charm, and those who whine about it are weepy vaginas.

Should the older generation of mods be stepping down and handing it over to new blood?

Moderators need to stick to the TOS and only ban for legit reasons.

Being a butthurt Homerbone is not a legit reason.

Mods need to insist people use ignore and take responsibility for their own experience. They shouldn't be banning people unless they clearly violate a rule...like spamming ads, violation of filter, personal threats of violence etc.

If anything maybe we shouldn't even see or know who the mods are......it should be very rare a mod is even needed other than to move posts or change a title or some shit.

I am the least involved mod these days. This is due to a very shitty personal life and a very busy professional one.

If y'all feel like I should be replaced, that's fine. I haven't really been doing much on here.
I love this site and visit it daily but as far as moderation goes, I try to help out with requests as much as possible. I am good with whatever you all are feeling. I get that some are upset about the GDT's. It's been a bit heavily moderated lately.
