As far as Reid knows right now, Spencer Ware hasn't passed concussion protocol.

His weren't now where as violent as Smith's...

I watched the whole game but can't remember if there was a play where he was lying on the field or being helped off. I do recall wondering where he went and why he was not out there before the announcers made mention of anything.

Alex Smith equilibrium was off before he went back into the game but that has nothing to do with being concussed and ability on the football field effectiveness or for player safety.

Screen play before the half. He fumbled the ball and recovered it. He got hit in the back of the head

It's Monday morning....if it's still the same on Wednesday, they i'll turn on the concern.

I know they usually get Mondays off but do they bring in guys for protocol tests on Monday to try to get a full week of practice in?

If that is the play, he sure didn't seem to have one after the play.

I recall talk about Johnny Football coming in on a Monday for a test...

Maybe if it was something really vital, but I dont see them being too worried about it. I doubt this will be a problem come Wednesday.

Concussion doesn't necessarily have to be a huge blow. It's understated how the cumulative/repetitive hits over time contribute to the problem

7 is pretty high. I wonder if anyone else has 7 or more on ignore? Most posters are bearable most of the time. I have 2 right now, I think. SDH, and Dave Lane. They became unbearable. I had Inmem58 on ignore for a while, but even he has been bearable lately and is back off my list. I never have put Clay on ignore and certainly didn't want him banned. It's fun going back and forth with him. It's also going to be fun when he returns and is stuck with a sig and avatar of my choice for a year. But it's your choice to block who you want.

We need him. Last year, I thought he and West were pretty even, Ware a little better in the running game, West in the passing game. Apparently the Chiefs did too since they gave them identical contracts. This year Ware seems light years ahead of West. Wonder if West is hurt? He's running like he's pulling a piano behind him the last few weeks.

He was basically laid out (and fumbled). His face was buried in the turf and he fortunately reached out and the ball was there for him to grab and tuck back under his body -- but I think he was pretty much out when he did it. Was really fortunate not to lose the ball.

But he got helmet-to-helmet-ed pretty good.
