So dramatic with Houston. Every week is the same bullshit, just put him on IR and leave him out this season.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-11-2016 01:16 PM

Seems to be conflicting reports on Houston

Chromatic 11-11-2016 01:17 PM

Probably gonna be a loss unless the Panthers shit themselves.

ROFL

Are you being serious?

DaneMcCloud 11-11-2016 01:20 PM

The Panthers starting left tackle is out and both centers are injured.

The Chiefs have won six games without Houston this year so there's no reason to rush him back if he's not fully prepared to play.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-11-2016 01:21 PM

ESPN just flip flopped. He's out.

O.city 11-11-2016 01:21 PM

Against the panthers run game, howard and Houston being out isn't good

Pablo 11-11-2016 01:23 PM

Man, Maclin being out is huge. He's been such a difference maker this year.

Titty Meat 11-11-2016 01:24 PM

Were gonna lose

DJ's left nut 11-11-2016 01:24 PM

Well that's interesting.

Conley needs to step up to take some heat off Kelce. Maclin's been a decoy more than anything this year because for whatever reason, he's pretty much given us shit for production. But he still had to be accounted for.

Houston...goddammit.

He's still a good receiver and worthy of the Panthers attention.

I doubt they're shitting themselves over the offensive prowess of Conley and Wilson.

No Houston is killer. This is one of those games where I'm more worried about our defense than offense. Sutton HAS to solve our leaky run D. I mean there's just no excuse for it with our current personnel.

They should start him and give him the same amount of targets Maclin is used to getting.

Force Carolina to commit extra resources to stop him to open up opportunities for the rest of the skill position players.

Kman34 11-11-2016 01:36 PM

At the beginning of the year I had this game as a L.... I would rather have Houston for the important division games than an away non conference game..

Fans are just not realistic sometimes. Its a 10-12 month recovery. 10 months for him I think is Dec.

Apparently there's no sun on CP.

pugsnotdrugs19 11-11-2016 01:48 PM

Think we are gonna need some great special teams play in order to win this one on the road. Possibly even a return TD.

Perhaps they saw something in Howard last week that made them think having him out there was worse off for the team? He played through the injury last week and our run D was awful.

Houston would be nice to have, but I get it, they want to play it safe and this is a non-conference game.

Tyreek Hill is going to have to have a big day to win this game, I think.

It wasn't a prediction, it was in print on the websites. CP faithful just go all crazy. Maclin's groin is bad as well most likely. That will take weeks.

Maclin is very important -- he does force defenses to account for him. But so can Hill -- speed kills in the NFL.

We can compensate for Maclin. We can compensate for Houston, as we have all year.

It's the loss of Howard that can be really bad. This is going to force Nunez-Roches to get major snaps. Kendall Reyes will see an uptick in snaps, too. And who knows what we'll get out of David King, who looked very good in preseason but who knows...

This.

Obviously, you don't want to lose a game, but losing to a non-division, non-conference Opponent is not the end of the world.

You have a layup at home next week against the Bucs. I'd rather sit Maclin, Houston and Howard (if necessary) for a couple more weeks and have them fully healthy and ready to go for Denver. THAT is a game we need them all!

I don't think we're going to lose to Carolina this weekend, but if we do its not a crippling loss that kills our playoff seeding. Those division games are much more important!

I don't even know how to respond to this. Earlier you said we should just ir him. If you aren't trolling, what are you doing?

Because they cleared him and the staff thinks it's smart to take it easy means he is being petty? What kind of logic is that? You honest think Houston just wants to sit. Guy has been working and rehabbing for almost a year. You watch him play. You honestly think he doesn't want to be out there? And because it may be a few weeks of questions we should just ir him? I'm fine with any opinion, but your line of thinking is incredibly hard to follow.

If harris fumbles or drops a big pass Sunday I'm personally getting on a plane to tell him to never celebrate anything he does ever again. He needs to hold onto three balls in a row before I see him marching after a catch.

Still better than the crap we had when it was Avery, Bowe, and Kyle Williams. Yea?

Mother****erJones 11-11-2016 08:25 PM

I saw this and knew Maclin was out. Need to rest his groin and not let that linger. I'm ok with resting guys that have injuries. I don't see us winning this game at all but we may if Hill can roast their terrible special teams and Alex can make some plays to Hill and Kelce deep to open up the run game. I think we'll come out passing to try and loosen their run D up. OL needs a HUGE game this Sunday. If they can pull this game out of their asses then wow. The key game is in two weeks at Denver. I'm completely fine with sitting Houston. I don't want a JC setback.

I like this challenge Sunday with guys out. It's time for Smith to carry them to victory. He's shown he's capable. This is a big time game for him. Our WRs are the most important group besides our OL. They need to step up.
