Maclin, Howard out for Sunday. Houston is doubtful.

So dramatic with Houston. Every week is the same bullshit, just put him on IR and leave him out this season.
|
Seems to be conflicting reports on Houston
|
Probably gonna be a loss unless the Panthers shit themselves.

Are you being serious? |
The Panthers starting left tackle is out and both centers are injured.
The Chiefs have won six games without Houston this year so there's no reason to rush him back if he's not fully prepared to play. |
ESPN just flip flopped. He's out.
|
Against the panthers run game, howard and Houston being out isn't good
|
Man, Maclin being out is huge. He's been such a difference maker this year.
|
Were gonna lose
|
Well that's interesting.
Conley needs to step up to take some heat off Kelce. Maclin's been a decoy more than anything this year because for whatever reason, he's pretty much given us shit for production. But he still had to be accounted for. Houston...goddammit. |

I doubt they're shitting themselves over the offensive prowess of Conley and Wilson. |

No Houston is killer. This is one of those games where I'm more worried about our defense than offense. Sutton HAS to solve our leaky run D. I mean there's just no excuse for it with our current personnel.

Force Carolina to commit extra resources to stop him to open up opportunities for the rest of the skill position players. |
At the beginning of the year I had this game as a L.... I would rather have Houston for the important division games than an away non conference game..
|
I remember being called all kind of nasty names when I said Houston won't play until Nov or Dec. Some of you are crazy.
|
we'll be fine.

Tyreek is going to get hurt at some point. Den its DAT SHOW AGAIN/

Non-conference game against a team with no LT and maybe no C.
Save Houston and Maclin for Denver in 2 weeks |

Apparently there's no sun on CP. |
Think we are gonna need some great special teams play in order to win this one on the road. Possibly even a return TD.
Perhaps they saw something in Howard last week that made them think having him out there was worse off for the team? He played through the injury last week and our run D was awful. Houston would be nice to have, but I get it, they want to play it safe and this is a non-conference game. Tyreek Hill is going to have to have a big day to win this game, I think. |

No Maclin and our WR corp is still 10x better than it was in 2014....

I heard Ron Rivera is only dressing 20 players for the game.
The rest will dress themselves. |

John Clayton just said Houston isn't listed as out and that Andy Reid will talk to Houston today to decide if they will let him play or not, but that Andy doesn't want him to play this week.

I just hope this is precaution with Houston and that he hasn't suffered some sort of setback...

Houston will not play this season.

Houston is officially out, and DJ is even listed as questionable..

Matt Derrick says that questionable technically means 50/50, but he expects DJ to play.

ROFL
Houston is collecting paper and ain't even putting in work. What a ****ing waste. |

Maclin is very important -- he does force defenses to account for him. But so can Hill -- speed kills in the NFL.
We can compensate for Maclin. We can compensate for Houston, as we have all year. It's the loss of Howard that can be really bad. This is going to force Nunez-Roches to get major snaps. Kendall Reyes will see an uptick in snaps, too. And who knows what we'll get out of David King, who looked very good in preseason but who knows... |

Thursday they'll say he's ready to play and he's ready. Friday he'll be questionable, then he'll be ruled out that night.

relax we have Zombo!

I didn't feel like winning in Carolina anyways.

Obviously, you don't want to lose a game, but losing to a non-division, non-conference Opponent is not the end of the world. You have a layup at home next week against the Bucs. I'd rather sit Maclin, Houston and Howard (if necessary) for a couple more weeks and have them fully healthy and ready to go for Denver. THAT is a game we need them all! I don't think we're going to lose to Carolina this weekend, but if we do its not a crippling loss that kills our playoff seeding. Those division games are much more important! |

No game is a layup with our scoring power.

I think our team will win the game!

Mac is turning into JC for reliabilty. Sad thing to watch these elite athletes body's break down from the abuse.
|
I guess we'll see if those people who said we didn't need any additional wide receiver help are correct or not.
|
Moar dropped passes for Harris! and gator arm efforts from Wilson! :p

Because they cleared him and the staff thinks it's smart to take it easy means he is being petty? What kind of logic is that? You honest think Houston just wants to sit. Guy has been working and rehabbing for almost a year. You watch him play. You honestly think he doesn't want to be out there? And because it may be a few weeks of questions we should just ir him? I'm fine with any opinion, but your line of thinking is incredibly hard to follow. |

Still better than the crap we had when it was Avery, Bowe, and Kyle Williams. Yea?

I saw this and knew Maclin was out. Need to rest his groin and not let that linger. I'm ok with resting guys that have injuries. I don't see us winning this game at all but we may if Hill can roast their terrible special teams and Alex can make some plays to Hill and Kelce deep to open up the run game. I think we'll come out passing to try and loosen their run D up. OL needs a HUGE game this Sunday. If they can pull this game out of their asses then wow. The key game is in two weeks at Denver. I'm completely fine with sitting Houston. I don't want a JC setback.
I like this challenge Sunday with guys out. It's time for Smith to carry them to victory. He's shown he's capable. This is a big time game for him. Our WRs are the most important group besides our OL. They need to step up. |
No problem with Maclin out.
Wilson had a TD last week. |

since when have you not said this? |
No worries
Conley, Hill, and Wilson will provide |
A layup against the Bucs? Yeah, like the one we had against the Jags? We aren't good enough to call another team a layup. Well, maybe the Browns.
