They've done a tremendous job with this rebooted franchise.

These movies are ****ing awesome. I always end up rooting for the "bad guys" but are the apes really the bad guys here?

1:45 looked like apes and humans fighting together.

Absolutely love these movies, such a great series. I'm hoping this one matches up to the level of the first two.

This looks good. I've been pleasantly surprised with this series so far.

Let's hope it's not Reign of Fire.

Gotta be honest.....I've never watched any of those. Always thought they looked interesting....just never had the time.

That poor horse carrying the gorilla at the beginning.

Average gorilla weighs ~350lbs. They'd break the horse's back...

first movie was great, was disappointed in the second. hopefully, as it looks, this one is a redemption of the second. :D

I thought the first one was okay, but the CGI apes were just.... off. I couldn't get past it. Frankly I thought the people in monkey suits in the old movies looked better.

I tried to watch the first outing but the VFX were just awful. The Mark Wahlberg led entry was more believable, as they used practical effects and makeup.

I can't connect with the previews, as I don't know the story and the apes look ridiculous.

Practical effects and makeup would have been far more convincing, IMO.

Guess I'm in the minority here but I think the apes look awesome and these movies are incredibly entertaining.

I don't think you're in the minority with your opinion overall because the films have seen box office success.

Yep. I basically feel the same as that poster. I think the 2nd one was a big improvement overall...really looking forward to this one.

This is actually one of the better franchises out there right now and apparently this one REALLY delivers . Can't wait to see Caesar **** up some humans .

On a side note, I totally trust Matt Reeves directing The Batman . Very reliable director imo .

Well, I thought it was a pretty good way to wrap things up. The religious imagery was more than a bit heavy-handed and the tone was bleak and hopeless. It was a struggle and an emotional rollercoaster (so cliche but it's true).

It certainly wasn't without faults, but this will go down as one of my favorite trilogies of all time.

Really really REALLY good. The cgi was jaw dropping and Andy Serkis was so great (as always). He should win some type of award for his role as Caesar .

Aside from stupid decisions made by the humans (really unlocking the cage to ask who threw monkey poop at you?! lol yeah that was dumb) this was a pitch perfect way to end a good to great trilogy .

Steve Zahn's character was also good (and needed for the cute comedy relief in a rather grime dark PG 13 films) . "Bad Ape!" haha

I 'm really digging the director Matt Reeves and think he'll do an excellent job with The Batman .

..one of my favorite trilogies and Reeves did the last 2. Definitely dark but an epic finale imo. The Batman is in great hands

Just came home from seeing it. I really liked it. Loved the mute little girl. The apes acted like humans should but don't—at least in this film.

Andy Serkis was awesome as Caesar. Harrelson played a great mean-ass. And I loved that zoo ape. Just hilarious—looking and acting.

Pretty crazy how the virus has changed...makes me wonder what else happens to humans besides the bloody nose and losing the ability to speak.
