What's the scenario for the Chiefs to NOT make the playoffs

Let's say Chiefs lose out. Baltimore beats Pittsburgh. Then what what would the scenario be??

I see the Cheufs losing tonight and next week. Sad. But I am worried.

Sandy Vagina 12-25-2016 09:47 AM

Many here don't think they have any chance if they get to the AFCCG anyway.. so don't even be trippin' dawg.

Lol have you seen Denver since they last played the chiefs? They are dogshit, unless they score multiple defensive td's they don't have the offense to keep up with the chiefs.

I don't necessarily see them losing but like you I'm worried. It's not like the losses to TB and Tenn. inspired confidence. Hell, some of the wins didn't either.

I believe that if Baltimore beats Pitt and then wins next week, and Pitt and Miami also win next week , while KC loses out, KC misses out. Also if Denver wins out, u add them to the tie - breaker scenarios and KC still loses out.

The math says there is only an 8% of KC missing the playoffs, but when u see it in writing, it doesn't seem all that impossible...

Wouldn't be so worried if we haven't had decades of these kinds of let downs...

Chiefs fans are the text book example of battered fans and the factory of sadness.

But this season Alex and Andy can change it ALL!!! Our hopes ride on those to to end the factory of sadness.

Bring us joy and pride fat Andy.

KCUnited 12-25-2016 10:00 AM

Because Chiefs

jimidollar 12-25-2016 10:06 AM

I can see Andy as Santa, but I can also see Alex as the grinch. God bless us, every one!

The Chiefs end the season out of the playoffs, Clark raises parking prices, and Alex and Andy spend the entire offseason trying to convince everyone that the offense will finally take it to the next level in 2017.

Rinse and repeat.

Snica 12-25-2016 10:59 AM

Ravens and Dolphins both go 10-6 and the Chiefs lose the last two to go 10-6. The Chiefs are out.

UNLESS

Cleveland beats Pitt, then the Chiefs squeak back in.

I'm not a doomsayer, but it really doesn't take much to "keep up" with our offense.

I dont see any of that happening.

Chiefs probably win out anyway.
Pitt beats Ravens today.
Pats need to beat Dolphins week 17 to keep top seed cause Raiders could steal it if they beat Denver and Pats loose to Dolphins. So Pats will beat Dolphins.

Chiefs are a shoo in for the #5, but still have a shot at the 2 slot if Oakland cant wrap it up in Denver.

MahiMike 12-25-2016 11:55 AM

Baltimore is not winning in Pittsburgh so they're out after today. Chiefs and dolphins have wildcards locked up.

It's sad, the days of old protecting our house are not here. Those losses ( TB & TN ) cost HF in the playoffs.

Not so sure about that. This is very much anybody's game. Steelers will be lucky to go into halftime with a lead

You suck at math. Especially since I keep pointing out the real numbers to you. You seem to want to ignore the real numbers to push your agenda.

The math says right now there is only a 3% chance of the Chiefs missing the playoffs.

Dude, I don't give a s*** what you're telling me. Nor do I have any agenda. Just keep telling you that I dont care what the numbers say, the Chiefs have not clinched shit and it is possible for them to miss out... Does 97% = 100%??? NO. So even using your numbers, my point is proven. Until its a 100% done deal, Im not resting easy.

kcpasco 12-25-2016 05:11 PM

Ravens beating Steelers.

It's happening gif

Gravedigger 12-25-2016 05:19 PM

If Andy and Alex don't make the playoffs this year, they better be looking for the door. Everything is laid out perfectly for us to improve on last year. Andy just has to win two division games against struggling teams with bad QB play with one at home in Primetime with slightly soggy conditions but 60 ****ing degrees in late December. All of that mixed in with Oakland losing their best player, I expect the #2 seed from Andy now. The only thing that I won't be surprised with is if even without Carr if Denver still loses to the Raiders because they can't score any points.

How embarrassing would it be to miss the playoffs by losing the next 2 games

He was just trying to get people to bet PIT to bump up the spread so he could take BAL. That or he made quite a poor bold statement.

plenty, but there is this reality that KC has half of their defense hobbled/out...

and then Andy Reid as playcaller...

**** this stupid thread. Stop wasting your time on the negative.

Rausch 12-25-2016 11:14 PM

The sun would have to explode to kill the Chiefs chances for the playoffs.

And we're still LIKELY for the no 2 seed...
