Who has to fight the refs today?

I think the Falcons will have to beat GB and the refs. GB is far more popular these days and the possible Rodgers match up with Brady or Ben is more of a money maker than with Ryan.

For the first time ever I actually think the Pats may have a battle with the refs as well. Pitt has more star power and popularity. Brady is the only star the Pats have without Gronk and Goodell must want them to lose. Him and old Kraft are hardly on good terms these days.

Still think it's GBvNE that the NFL wants.

Easy..Atlanta. Ne/Pitt will be fairly called, nfl is happy with either outcome. Its about the qbs, not market size. Everyone know who the great qbs are. Alot more draw for the nfl superbowl, when the qb superstars are there.

LMAO

Looks like having a high-powered offense was a key component in beating the refs! AGAIN!

I'm seeing a real pattern here.

False. If that was true, Smith and his high powered offense would have won last week/Tigeruppernutcut

Rain Man 01-22-2017 04:28 PM

The refs can't do anything right. I bet none of these guys get to work the Super Bowl.

If it isn't close, the refs can't manipulate.

I love this place.

LMAO

It was posted that's this was preordained. But now, the caveat is "it has to be close".

The Roger Goodell ear-piece only activates if the game is within 6 points in the 4th quarter. Can't believe you can't see that.

There is surely league favoritism to a point but nothing much can be done in a blowout.

Rain Man 01-22-2017 04:40 PM

They wouldn't have called that penalty if it was Alex.

Okay.

Rain Man 01-22-2017 04:41 PM

The NFL clearly...okay, I can't come up with a narrative for picking the flag up. Give me a minute.

Couldn't they manipulate to keep it close? :tinfoil:

I bet the NFL sent their most obedient refs to New England since they've got an obligation to the Patriots this year.

Agreed. Right now, the NFGoodelL is frantically working with Papa John's to figure out how to appease Arthur Blanc's request of "Letting us win one someday".

ROFL

Pablo 01-22-2017 04:47 PM

Damn, too bad that the Refs account for 4 hidden TD's in every game. Sad to see the Falcons have played their asses off and they're still down by 2 right now.

Pablo 01-22-2017 04:48 PM

Commish first name Rodger, GB QB last name Rodger, IT WRITES ITSELF FOLKS

It's like when James Bond villains explain their plan to 007 before trying to kill him. So obvious.

LMAO

Rain Man 01-22-2017 04:57 PM

It's no coincidence that on the 162nd anniversary of the Civil War, the NFL is going to set up a North-South story line. Who won that contest, and what happened to Atlanta?

Pablo 01-22-2017 04:57 PM

Rodgers is about to throw a 35 point hail mary into the endzone. Gonna bank of the roof of the stadium and some other shit. Then the refs will then be forced to hand them the SuperBowl trophy right then and there via the Roger Goodell ear-piece.
