That's one of the earliest TV shows I remember. My parents really enjoyed it.

Columbo, Mannix, Hawaii 5-0, McMillan and Wife, Cannon were all the shows I grew up on when watching TV with my parents in the mid to late 70's.

RIP....loved Mannix.

You wanted to watch a movie after the news on Saturday night, it was some old James Cagney movie.

Theses young whippersnappers don't know how lucky they got it nowadays.

Man I thought he was dead already.
Now I am shocked by his death.

They tried to kill him many times, but he escaped in a race car. Or on a horse. Or maybe by learning on the fly how to pilot a helicopter.

Me and my Brother skipped school one day. I was in 2nd grade and he was in 5th. When the Teacher asked the next day where I was the previous day I told them, "I was playing Manix with my brother all day"
Man we got in trouble, but rolling in the grass making incredible handgun shots on bad guys was worth it.

It doesn't seem that long ago that this show was running on prime time. I wasn't a regular but my wife was. Rip, darnit.
