Dan Snyder sure knows how to ruin em'

Mile High Mania 03-10-2017 11:35 AM

Shannahan broke him.

ToxSocks 03-10-2017 11:35 AM

Not really. That would mean we're not taking a Qb early.

Mile High Mania 03-10-2017 11:37 AM

I wonder how cheap a team can get him... totally worth a 1 year minimum contract just to see.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-10-2017 11:44 AM

He would start in pile high

KCTitus 03-10-2017 11:49 AM

He's more brokedick than Romo....no thanks.

Chief Roundup 03-10-2017 11:50 AM

Could Reid straighten him out and get him back to form?

Not quite....

Chief Northman 03-10-2017 11:51 AM

Cheaper than Foles? Do it. Familiar with WCO concepts. Can run read option and spread concepts we incorporate too. Low risk backup or #3. Does not prevent development of a drafted qb.
Bray can **** off.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-10-2017 11:54 AM

Shoulda moved him out wide

Dunerdr 03-10-2017 11:57 AM

I do like the guy but I feel this is a make or break year that we have to take a shot at qb

Dude is done because of those injuries.

MahiMike 03-10-2017 12:00 PM

Some QBs have spaghetti arms. He has spaghetti arms AND legs.

raybec 4 03-10-2017 12:02 PM

How long until he's linked to the Chiefs because Reid signed Mike Vick in Philly. Not even close to the same situation. RGIII is a husk of what Vick was.

He could start in Kansas City if they valued the quarterback position. :D

Since they don't, they are probably talking to his agent right now.

Is everyone comfortable with Bray as your primary backup?

I'm not really against bringing any younger FA QBs as camp fodder if nothing else. As long as they also draft one that makes sense to them. Keep the best of them to be back up. Or two if Bray isn't progressing enough to stay.

Maybe somebody will really shine and legitimately start to push Alex out this or next year.

I get that but they're so cap strapped I don't want them signing some turd who won't contribute. I want them to draft and develop the wave of the future. 1983 was the last time the Chiefs drafted a QB that even won 1 ****ing game, that's depressing.

Well obviously money plays into their decisions. I'm just answering the question "what about RGIII? What about this FA QB?" As long as they're youngish, cheap and KC still drafts a QB in one of the first few rounds, bring as many as you can.

Caveat to all this is how well Bray is maturing in the weight room, film room and practice field. If the chiefs let Foles go because Bray is doing well enough to be a good / above average backup, that gives the chiefs playroom for the draft for the future. If not, bring in several QBs and get two behind Alex that could actually push to replace him.

BigCatDaddy 03-10-2017 12:54 PM

He is a perfect backup QB.

Eleazar 03-10-2017 01:01 PM

another CP draft hero bites the dust

oldman 03-10-2017 01:09 PM

Aaaaaahhhhhh----NO!!!

Demonpenz 03-10-2017 01:48 PM

**** if RGIII Was our backup with this shit oline he would die.

MahiMike 03-10-2017 01:50 PM

Kaep is better.

rabblerouser 03-10-2017 02:04 PM

RGIII would make a great practice squad safety...

Chris Meck 03-10-2017 02:06 PM

as an on the cheap reclamation project/qb3, why not? If it's anything more than that, then no.

Even if I did agree with you, no. And not just because of the distraction he brings. I think on principle it would be bad juju to bring kaep to compete with Alex again. Imagine if he took Alex's spot a second time on a new team. 😬

Oh I never suggested either of these guys come here. Just saying RG3 is not as good as Kaep.

**** you, Trent Green was QUALITY.

Not as talented as Smith, but played out of his head, crazy smart football. Rarely made mistakes between 2002-2005.

And one of the shittiest defenses in NFL history ruining shit on the other side.

Blame Robinson for being an idiot or Vermeil for building half a team, but you can't hang those failures on Green.

Kaep only did that kneeling shit because he wanted to get cut.

Kaep only gives a shit about Kaep

Physically yes. But in due time RGIII got exposed for his lack of growth in the game.

I would rather sign Manziel

He was never a good long-term NFL prospect because of his slight build, not having played in a realistic offense, and inability to read the whole field. But the main culprit in RG3's flameout is RG3. He was entitled, a poor teammate, and didn't do the work to become a real QB.

He's Krapernick without knees.

I was laughing at your comment that Trent wasn't as talented as Smith. Trent Green is the best QB this team has ever had after Lenny and Montana. Alex Smith has never and will never come close to the three good years Green had here.

Chiefs might as well take Geno Smith as a backup because Robert will most likely be knocked out before 1/2 time.

I'd rather take a chance on Manziel turning his shit around than picking up that broke-dick Griffin.
