It's finally Draft Day Eve, as I'd call it. We've pondered back and forth the possibilities that come with picking at #27 for months, and now its almost time to see who is under the Chiefs' tree in 2017.

So, a day ahead, call your shot below. Who you want them to pick, who you believe they will pick, or both.

I'll project a trade up to pick #16, where KC selects Patrick Mahomes, QB.

He is in fact my preferred pick, but from all accounts it seems like a very real possibility.

Who I want: Pat Mahomes

Who I think they'll pick: Deshaun Watson

Mahomes or Foster, or Watson if Mahomes goes way early.

That's who I'm hoping for.

I think Foster falls further than expected, and if he falls to the Chiefs, it's a no brainer.

If they don't go QB, I think they go defense with Foster (if he falls), or Cunningham.

I don't think the Chiefs trade up. They rarely do that throughout their history.

It's just not their style. I think trading down and accumulating more picks is more like a Chiefs thingy.

I'm gonna say the 1st round projected QBs will be gone by the time the Chiefs pick but Dorsey will do what he is good at and that is getting the best available player at #27. I'm going to go on board and say that the Chiefs will draft ILB Zach Cunningham with the 27th pick overall. I think the Chiefs go with a QB in the 2nd round.

I actually think it's going to be a passrusher, but I can't decide on what passrusher they'd choose. I also think it could very well be Curtis Samuel out of Ohio State.

They will trade down and try to get Kizer or Webb later on. I think that Mahomes interest is a smokescreen to force another team to draft him. If they did try to trade up they will have to give the farm to do so and I can't see Dorsey doing it on a QB that he says ALL need a year to develop. I also think they take a chance on Mixon. The only way I see them staying is if someone drops that isn't supposed to be there like Foster or Cunningham. Just my 2 cents

I'm predicting fatties and girlfriend beaters with a side of no QB and a couple of dudes we are converting from hockey or track that have never played football.

I'd bet they pull the trigger if they move up by swapping 1sts and 3rds for example and not losing any picks.

If Watson of Mahomes are there they will be the pick. If not, I'll be pissed we didn't try to trade up. But then I'll calm down and hope we take Davis Webb day two.

Now, if Watson or Mahomes are there and KC doesn't pick one, I'm throwing something through the TV.

I'm going with Alex Smith. Pretty sure he will be a Chief tomorrow night.

RB is out of question because the only one who would make sense, McCaffrey, will go early.

I don't know about ILB (unless Foster falls) or CB. ILB seems like a position where you can get a stud in the 2nd round (see David, Wagner, McKinney, Jones, etc.) and Dorsey possibly has the Hodges option. CB is really deep this year and with the bevy of picks that we have, I think it makes it unlikely we go that direction in round one. Plus, with the competition that you can have between Mitchell, Gaines and a CB you'd draft in round 2 or 3 or even multiple drafted CBs if they go this way again, I'd be surprised if they went for a CB in the 1st round.

I think it will be either DL, OLB or QB, with the latter being the most likely but depending entirely on how the board falls through.

Deshaun Watson - he's the QB Reid has been waiting for. I think we will move up to #18 and get him.

Is there any chance of Foster falling that far? Kinda unrealistic, right?

If he falls out of the top 15, I'm trading up for him without a second of hesitation.

But I think there is a chance that he slips significantly due to his size, he's pretty small at 6'0" and under 230, durability issues, the failed drug test, how he acted at the combine, etc.

Trade up that far for an ilb? No.

Want QB even though Mahomes and Watson are long shots. Will end up with a CB or Cunningham.
