Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones had arthroscopic knee surgery two weeks ago and will start training camp on PUP list.


Ehinger and Nicolas also on PUP. DJ and Kelce will be day to day but will practice to start camp #chiefs

Kelce and DJ are a go so that's nice

Dj will likely be drug tested asap

If Jones just had it scoped , hopefully,that's a 2 or 3 week thing

Maybe I don't understand but why wait so late in the year to have shit like that done?

is it normal for a guy second year in the league to get scopes a few weeks before training camp? I get why Tamba after playing in the NFL for a decade, but a guy with such low mileage?

Because it wasn't an issue until off season workouts.

Chiefs have a weird habit of having guys wait until right before TC to have surgery.

Normal is 4 to 6 weeks recovery. There are a lot of variances that can change that dramatically. Things such as a persons ability to heal as well as the extent of the procedure.

Makes me nervous about Ehinger. We really need him. Lead-footed Zach Fulton isn't good enough.

He's solid. He's a lot better center than guard though

Didn't they sign some other potential lg? Tiller maybe?

Typical ACL recovery is 12-16 months.

Maybe Ehinger will beat that but I don't expect him to contribute much this season, if at all.

I need some of that non-sense.

On the field though, things become far easier if DJ is a go.
