Make your predictions for the upcoming season. Home team, or any other. Does Marvin Lewis get fired before week 4? Are New England and the Jets tied for first after week 3? Is Robert Griffin III the starter in LA in week 13?
Does Patrick Mahomes cement himself as the #2 QB? Call your shots, do the Redskins trade Cousins to the 49'ers before the trade deadline? This is all speculative, and at the end of the season we can see who is the best prognosticator. :D I predict that the Browns will knock a team out of the playoffs. Denver will finish last in their division. Dallas will implode and finish below 500. The Chiefs will avenge their loss to Green Bay in the Super Bowl ROFL
Spoiler!
No need for predictions of injury, keep it clean and matching ones strengths against another's. |
I figured this was a thread about the Pats and Broncos, since both should have * by their name in the record books.
|
If we're doing fearless and outlandish predictions:
With players like Smith and key contributors on defense getting older, I think this might be the year the Chiefs take a step backward. Looking like they are in danger of missing out on the all-important playoff one and done, they make the QB change around midseason. |
*Patriots cheat but don't get caught this time
|
I predict the mods will be have a conference today to consider revoking your dumbass thread starting priviledges
|
Without looking at the schedule or putting any thought into it at all I'll say 9-7.
|
Tom Brady will get injured, old age will catch up to him.
|
No wr's or TE's have 1000 yards, nor will a running back.

Raiders win the AFC West
Chiefs finish third (8-8) due to a declining Alex Smith (his worst year as a Chief) and a defense that falls back to the middle of the pack. AFC Playoff teams 1. New England 15-1 2. Pittsburgh 12-4 3. Titans 11-5 4. Raiders 11-5 5. Ravens 10-6 6. Broncos 10-6 NFC Playoff teams 1. Dallas 13-3 2. Carolina 12-4 3. Green Bay 11-5 4. Seattle 11-5 5. New York 10-6 6. New Orleans 9-7 The Cowboys win the NFC and beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Ezekiel Elliott is league and Super Bowl MVP. |

Again, Clay with his Anti-Chiefs/Smith predictions. Always bet against this jester. And if he were to be right, it'd be the first time in 5 seasons.

No team from the AFC West wins more than 10 games.
Raiders finish in 3rd place. They have to play 9 teams with 9 or more wins this year. Marshawn was all hype. Smith has his best season as a Chief. Gavin Escobar is KC's surprise FA contributor. KC's defense finishes in the top 5. Houston leads the NFL in sacks. Titans/Bucs are the surprise playoff teams this year. Chargers sweep the Donkos and split with Oakland Denver's defense falls off without Wade and Lynch struggles. Cellar bound. My homer pick is a KC vs. Green Bay SB. NFL gave Reid 6 prime time games for being a good little company man...and Goodell was seen doing photo-ops recently in a Chiefs hat. The writing is on the wall. Rodgers vs. Smith... |
