Josh Gordon is back
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has reinstated Josh Gordon on a conditional basis.
He must have impressed Goodell at his reinstatement hearing on Wednesday. Gordon is eligible to resume practicing with the Browns on November 20, putting him on track for a Week 13 return. When Gordon sees the field, it will be his first game action since 2014. It's anyone's guess what Gordon has left after missing most of the last three years due to repeated substance abuse violations, but he led the league in receiving yards as a 22-year-old in 2013 and should make for a worthy flyer in all formats. Gordon is an idiot but in the big picture, league substance abuse with regards to marijuana is pretty draconian and stupid. It's not like he's doing meth or something actually dangerous. Should spend these resources to crack down on PEDs instead, I'm sure all of these ****ers are on testosterone, EPO, tramadol and the like.

Kid is as talented as it gets. Hope he can get back on track.

Oh wait.. |
I guess all that kneeling by Kapernick to help racial relations worked well for Gordon! LOL

They brought him back after the trade deadline as his final punishment.

What's going to happen first - Gordon gets suspended again or CJ Spiller gets cut again?

This guy was ****ing incredible in 2013 and is actually still really young. I want to say he's only 25 or 26.
I hope he can turn it around. |
If Andy Reid could get ahold of this kid he would be a superstar.
|
Ugh! Browns were shopping for a WR at the deadline and are in need of his services, plus it's potentially been long enough since Gordon posted all that anti-Brown propaganda on social media that the two might stick.

Could Jerry Jones be getting somewhere by hounding Goodell?
60% of Americans think pot should be legal. Goodell doesn't. Josh Gordon should never have been suspended, since he did nothing wrong according to a majority in a so-called "democracy." |
