The Chiefs matchups as a wild-card team
The Chiefs are currently the three seed.
The other wild-card teams, in order of most difficult matchup for KC. We definitely want the Titans. Jacksonville Quote:

All of them could beat us.

I wouldn't want to play Jacksonville right now. The league's #1 defense and a powerful running game

Pretty much the exact opposite of how we played the Steelers the last two times... |
I'd take my chances with Buffalo, but I don't even think they'll make it. Tennessee wouldn't be easy at all. Mariota can occasionally go full franchise QB on teams.
The Jags wouldn't be as scary as they appear. All it takes is 1 Blake Bortles shitty day and the game would be over. The Chiefs match up well with them actually despite what rankings may show. |

Does it matter? We would go into Heinz Field the game after, so we shouldn't even care about a potential Wild-Card game...

Instead of giving Bell his yards and going full zone to stop Ben we'd do the opposite. Play man, load the box, and force a total ass QB to beat us... |

And defensively their strength is obviously outside the hashes. Kelce would have a huge day. |
Thought about mentioning the Raiders. But they still play New England, Philadelphia, Dallas, and KC

Blake throws 14 times, Jags win 30-9. |
Jacksonville reminds me of some of the Baltimore Ravens teams with Ray Lewis

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!?
|
I would include Miami in that group as possible WC teams.

The Chiefs will not make it as a wild card team based on their play over the last 4 games.
the Denver game shouldn't count as a win, their offense was more pathetic than the Chiefs. |
We wouldn't play the Jags in the WC round.....because they're winning that division.

Best case scenario is we get the flaming Tacks and Marriotta has to sit on a dodgy knee and we line up against Casshole. |
Cant wait for another appearance in the Scrub Bowl!

Andy will use this post loss bye week to patch up some things, and that combined with the weak remaining schedule tees up a 12-4 finish to the season. The talking heads will be asking the same questions this December that they asked about KC last December.
"They look great. Can they win in January?" And the answer will be no if it means playing the Patriots or Steelers. On with the future it will be. |

Currently:
1. Steelers 2. Pats 3. Chiefs 4. Titans 5. Jags 6. Bills We'd crush the Bills, IMO. That's a good matchup for us. The Titans have a rough go of it with LA, JAX and PIT left to play. We probably need to root FOR the Jags, because we don't want them ending up as the 6 seed. That's the worst matchup for us. |

GUESS WHO BEAT THE PATS???? THISSSSS TEAM!

Chiefs are going to be either the 3 or the 4 seed IMO. They kissed the bye away when they lost to the Steelers and Raiders.
|
Who cares who we play
We're unstoppable! |

Steelers and Pats play each other later this season. We should root for the Steelers to win since we own a head to head to breaker over New England. If the Pats can find one more loss on their schedule (a lot of division games upcoming) then maybe we can squeak out a bye.
Check back with me next week when we drop a gimmie vs the Giants though. Then all this will be useless conjecture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Chiefs can beat anyone if their oline and dline step up ther games - simple as that. I how they are taking some protein powders and getting their workouts in cause they have been weak.
|
Looking ahead, to get a bye they're pretty much gonna have to win out and hope the steelers win out as well.
That would put the chiefs in the 2 seed |
That Raider game really is going to bite this team. Having said that nothing in the last 4 weeks screams winning playoff football.
