Chiefs sign DT Cam Thomas
|
to the ship?
|
|
Released Roy miller or whoever yesterday. Sounds like a championship move right there.
BAM |
Cam Thomas, for what it's worth, looked outstanding in training camp.
Considering we're only going to use him for 12% of the snaps, we should be fine. |
how is he in coverage?
|
For just ONCE, I'd be nice to see us sign a player and not see immediate wise-ass responses (mostly due to the fact they're 'nobody' players.)
|
I expect him to be a vital cam in the defensive engine.

This move probably doesn't matter much anyway. He replaces Roy Miller. What exactly has Miller done this year on the field? I like the move. But mainly because the team did the right thing in releasing Miller. Veach is showing the team that domestic violence will not be tolerated on this team. Thomas was in camp, so he knows the_efense, I mean defense. I would have rather seen a young prospect brought up off of someone's practice squad, but this works.

run defense will now hold opponents to 4.7 yards per rush instead of 4.9
and we will get .4 more hurries per game TO THE SHIP!!!! |

Thomas looks like 1/2 a baller we needed a full time lineman. |

Could have done better
Sutton's exotic blitzes are gone and now he only calls 4 man rushes, yet this is the move the Chiefs GM makes??
I think they could have done so much better and picked up someone with a skill set for a 4 man rush. Missed opportunity IMO. |

I'm surprised he's still getting work in the NFL. |

In limited snaps, Cam will get a sack vs. a woeful Giants' o-line. Veach will be declared a prodigy.

Anyone who says "WHO?" should be slapped. The guy played on one of our rivals for several years and we saw him play.
Kinda just shows either a lack of knowledge about the game of football, or an ineptness about knowing who the team plays twice a year. |

They rotate like crazy. It's CB and S that never come off the field. |

This is a football message board. I'm shocked sometimes at the number of people that regular this message board that don't really follow football. |
