Vikings
They barely won this, holy crap...
I think they are the only team that has a shot against the Patriots. If New Orleans won, Patriots take this easy. Thoughts? |
Jacksonville still being overlooked?

Jax has the best playmakers on defense in their prime of the teams left. They are bigger and faster than everyone else.
So anything can happen when you stockpiled the best athletes on one side of the ball. |
There's maybe a 0.5% chance that any of the remaining teams beat the Patriots, and I'm being generous. The downside of that phenomenal play by Diggs is that it won the Patriots another title.
|
There's already a thread for the game dude

I want Jax to beat NE to prevent a media ball washing of Brady and Belichick. Also if they win we are guaranteed to have a team win their first ever SB.

But I believe that Minnesota, while not quite as physically gifted on defense... are nonetheless the more disciplined unit They'd be a damn good matchup in the big game |

I wanted next weekend to be Vikings, Eagles, Titans and Jaguars. I got all but one. |

B)I'm not so sure the Saints would have won next week anyway. Cold as hell and Eagles are very motivated. I expect a nasty, low scoring, one score game in the NFC championship, no matter who would have won today. |
If they can get to Brady and run the ball well, JAX will beat NE.
That's easier said than done, though. I'd like Philly to win just to stick that shit in Andy Reid's face because **** him, he's a loser. Unless Mahomes can break that curse, Reid won't ever win shit here, just like he never won shit in Philly. Every year it will be the same song n dance. Reid's teams will win 10-12 games in the reg season and then an early playoff exit will shortly follow. |

Jags will win because of Hurricane Irma.
Astros won because of Hurricane Harvey. New England won because of 9/11 Red Sox win same year as the Boston Marathong Bombing |

**** the Patriots

Seemed more like a Jets or Giants kind of year. |
All we learned today is the AFC will have the champ. Unless the Jags defense hurts the Pat's it will be them. Keenum or Foles against Bill is a joke and boring.

Having the Patriots win wasn’t so noticeable, but still had the GREAT story. |

So I can’t talk sports here? Obviously certain people want to let DC bleed over to the lounge. Mods?

If Blake Bortles was any other QB who was in the POs, I think they'd have a better chance in Foxboro. |

If that would have been the Chiefs, Marcus Williams would have made that tackle
Cause Chiefs...... |
I'm happy for the Vikings. Maybe they can break their own curse this year. Watching that game felt like reliving one of our playoff losses until they got the miracle finish.
|
I think the Jags have a decent chance. Coughlin always coached against the Pats tough when he was with the Giants and you cannot deny his impact on Jacksonville.
They have the tough physical defense with pass rushers you need to get the job done. Can they score enough points and control the ball enough? I doubt it. I like the Vikings against them a little more only because of the home advantage they would have playing in their own stadium and not having to travel. |

Awesome radio call from today:

B.) Maybe not, but if they did, they're the one team that could have at least made the Patriots sweat for five minutes before they inevitably win. |

Side note: have you picked a new team to root for, or are you still riding with the chargers. |

You'll know what'll happen in the AFC championship game. Belichik will pound the Jaguars by 30. You can't line up in power formations and run the ball against a Belichik defense. They're not talented, but they do have run stoppers all across the front 7. Its unfathomable to me how a team could get to the superbowl so easily year after year. Most years they have 1 legit post-season opponent and always get 6 easy preseason games against the AFC east, so their entire regular season is practice. This year post-season titans and jaguars. GTFO. God I'm so sick of Belichik.

Diggs catch is reminiscent of the Great Otis Taylor catch against the Vikings in Super Bowl IV

I think they are somewhat lucky....defense is awesome.
Case Keenum? I dont know what to say about him |
Love to see Jags/Vikings. They are quite similar teams.
Plus, Fresh Meat! |
I just hate SKOL... that's all.
|
Give me a hell yeah if you wanna see the Vikes and Jags!!!!
