Derrick Johnson visiting (and has now signed with) the Raiders...
Seriously... McKenzie going for revenge since Veach drafted his son haha
Not an ideal way to see an all time great Chief end his career in that dump https://arrowheadaddict.com/2018/05/...s-free-agency/

Former Chiefs’ standout LB Derrick Johnson is visiting today with...the Raiders, per source.

If the Chiefs can draft Reggie McKenzie’s son, the Raiders can sign one of KC’s favorites.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 3, 2018
 |
didn't McKenzie get fired yesterday - I heard that on the radio.
Edit: Weird - Well not exactly ->> https://arrowheadaddict.com/2018/05/...ggie-mckenzie/ |
 business is business. Just don't go full reerun like Jamaal did. Be quiet and respectful and just play.

He's about the right age to play for Gruden it seems though I'd hate to see it.

Good ,I hope he starts there. We have 9 RB's that can run away from him with ease.
But I'd much rather him come home and coach for us. |
No DJ, No!
Just say no to drugs! |

Why the **** would they want DJ when they can just re-sign Bowman?
It would suck to see DJ in a Raiders uni, but by all means go ahead Raiders. Continue to get older. |

If he can still get someone to give him an NFL check, then good for him.

He's old, slow, and Hunt will run right through him.
Hope he does sign there. |
I hope he doesn't give them any secret intel.. like the fact that Hill is fast or something.
|
The Raiders team building strategy has been one of the oddest things I’ve ever seen in the league. They have prioritized getting older at nearly every position.

That move worked out well for JC. |

I’d hate to see it but that tells you how bad the Raiders are at ILB. |

Just don't...cmon man...just don't...
|
Well, if he signs and plays against us, he's dead to me. And we run the ball right down his throat.
|
As much as I’d hate to see this happen, as long as he doesn’t go full Jamarl and talk about how he always wanted to be a Raider it will be pretty hard to not welcome him back into the Ring of Honor with open arms.

Please list the starting positions that the Raiders will be older (other than the natural year older) than they were last year. Thanks! |

Jamaal went to the Broncos and saw a sad ending to his career. I suspect DJ going to the Raiders would be much of the same.
|
|
I would hate it for him more than I would hate it for us. I love DJ.
|
Raiders need to keep Reggie. He's done a great job for the Chiefs!

Which Raiders starters are going to be older than the guy who started for the Raiders last year, other than the obvious year older than they were last year. Dipstick above stated we were going to be older at nearly all positions. |

Raider's Offense getting to know a few of the new Cheerleaders.

Leon Hall and Rashaan Melvin are both older than Amerson.

The bottom line is you’ve got a crazed egomaniac running your franchise now for probably AT LEAST the next 6-7 years, and he apparently wants to make your team older and slower in the worst way. This is just the reality, bro. It’s almost like Al Davis rose from the dead. |

Please let this happen. Another broke dick chief that never won anything hanging on years past any respectable prime.

Damnit DJ.
I will still root for you, but not to win. |

C'mon DJ, don't go full-Jamaal.

I doubt DJ has much choice, searching for any job he can get.
|
Interesting that he’d go this route with the standing offer to coach the Chiefs. Gotta think Andy and Brett would be a little less enthused about that after DJ tried to get with the Raiders.

I guarantee that Andy and Veach understand that. |
This just in... DJ said he secretly wanted to play for the Raiders his entire career

Don't matter to me either way... They could also be using him as Leverage to try to lower the price of Bowman |

As I said, he is or was a good player and if he is cheap enough his knowledge of the KC defense alone would probably be worth it if you are a rival team |

I have nothing bad to say about the guy. This is what he does for a living and he wants to keep doing it. I only care about this stuff when someone like Kneel Smith says "It's nice to finally play for the good guys." That ****ery isn't necessary. Do what you do and feed your family but there's no need to shit on a fanbase in the process... |

I use to live to debate and argue about football and couldn't wait for the season to begin... Maybe because I am getting older, I dunno... I don't get excited after a win and I don't get down after a loss like I did when I was younger and it's not just the NFL... I was the same way about the Tarheels , bet I didn't watch 3 games last year and 2 of those were vs Duke. I use to take nights off to see the Tarheels and Raiders play. I used to watch Nascar and that is dead to me now too Meh |

Apparently he left the building without a deal.

If they don't change soon they will go under |
He signed with them.

Good for DJ. Glad he's getting paid. Doubt he has much left to contribute on the field, so Oakland/LV is a good landing spot. Maybe Reid will have him doing some secret intel for us. :) DJ has been a loyal Chiefs' soldier his entire career.

Uggggggghhhhhhh!
|
What's next? Hali signs with the Chargers?
