Read 'em and weep!

eDave 09-20-2018 06:00 PM

WTF does AZ have to watch Green Bay and Washington? Damn. I was certain our game would play here.

ptlyon 09-20-2018 06:00 PM

Yup ****ed here. The least they could do is pick up the Chiefs on fox, but no, gotta show the ****ing Packers.

Coogs 09-20-2018 06:06 PM

This is also in the tweets on the left hand side...

Quote:

Re that JAX-KC week 5 game: it's CBS's singleheader that week, can't air in either NYC or LA, and Fox's top DH game is Eagles-Vikings.

Might go down as the best game of the year nobody gets to see.

Dunit35 09-20-2018 06:08 PM

Makes zero sense. I’m four hours from KC and they’re showing the Indy vs Philadelphia game. Neither team is close to me.

Kiimo 09-20-2018 06:10 PM

Can you imagine having to watch Indy / Philly

If people don't know hot to stream yet I feel very little sympathy

I'd still rather watch the broadcast "live". Streaming is at least a play behind. HD streams are worse.

Easy 6 09-20-2018 06:22 PM

Cant believe what I'm seeing here, then the tv guide confirmed it

Guarantee the streams are gonna be dogshit :sulk:

displacedinMN 09-20-2018 06:26 PM

I noticed Lubbock has the Chiefs game.
I wonder why????? Hmmmm

Nickhead 09-20-2018 06:48 PM

by week 6, the entire country will be watching kc play. it may be more fair to simply move all kc games to either mondays or thursdays. otherwise tv fans will miss out on seeing their teams play. :thumb:

They should give it to all of West Texas. I'm in Midland and there are a ton of Texas Tech people here. Nobody gives two craps about the Houston Texans in this part of the state.

Easy 6 09-20-2018 07:10 PM

Whoever decided this weeks NFL coverage should be fired, then killed

As if Fox wasnt bad enough, I get two different CBS stations and both have... wait for it

Bills @ Vikings

Seriously

MMXcalibur 09-20-2018 07:26 PM

Enough with the ****ing shitty ass Cowboys.

“America’s Game of the Week”

Duuurrrrrrrrrrr

...at least I get SF/KC

Write/call your local station.

Rain Man 09-20-2018 08:13 PM

The Dallas-Seattle late game sounds so bad that I might drive the 12 hours just to get out of that coverage area.

I'd take a slow boat to China

Iowanian 09-20-2018 08:42 PM

Guess I'll be looking for a stream

Deberg_1990 09-20-2018 09:07 PM

Why does Maine care about the Chiefs and Niners?

My guess is that they're setting up a speed trap for the Chiefs' fast receivers. They'll probably hide a sign somewhere with a 15 mph speed limit.

Green Bay.

Three7s 09-20-2018 09:49 PM

I know I'll be avoiding the Fox late game like the plague, that's for sure.

big nasty kcnut 09-20-2018 10:11 PM

One more week and I'll be seeing the chiefs game on over the air tv since I'm moving back to tulsa.

Ugh. Yeah. I'm glad I have LA/LA which should be a fun one. (Go Rams)

I’m hearing that KRCG in JCMO is going to show the Chargers/Rams game.

Makes sense since it’s not against the Chiefs game.

T-Town!

When I lived there from 96-01 it seems like they didn’t air 4-5 games a year. Hopefully that’s changed.

Yeah, well, they aired the TexansvsPatriots here in Tulsa opening week instead of the Chiefs game. They're good for a few head scratchers a year. Especially if its on FOX in the same time frame as the Cowboys, forget it. Luckily the Cowboys are on late this Sunday.

Can somebody explain to me why Lubbock, TX will have our game? And why the majority of the surrounding area will have Indy/Philly and not Houston's game? That all just seems so strange.

I seem to recall that one of our players is from Texas Tech. Maybe Andrew Wylie? No. Terrance Smith? No. Give me a second, and I'll think of him.

carcosa 09-21-2018 09:28 AM

I'm surprised Colorado is getting the Chiefs game when the Broncos are on CBS at the same time

FloridaMan88 09-21-2018 09:31 AM

It is surprising that the LA Chargers-LA Rams game is not the featured late game on Fox as part of their double header, rather than being relegated to a regional coverage game on CBS.

It’s a CBS game because it’s at the Coliseum.

It’s a Fox doubleheader weekend.

MahiMike 09-21-2018 09:35 AM

Guess I'll be scrounging for the stream.

Rain Man 09-21-2018 09:37 AM

I just recognized a conspiracy about how Roger Goodell will be helping the Chiefs this year. Brett Veach is so freaking smart about this stuff.

The Chiefs signed Andrew Wylie. Remember that?

Well, Roger Goodell is an alumni of Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washin...ferson_College

In 1865, Washington and Jefferson College was formed by merging two smaller colleges named (coincidentally) Washington College and Jefferson College.

An 1810 alumni of Jefferson College was (get this) a fellow named Andrew Wylie. Upon graduating, he was then immediately named the president of the college, because back then a college degree must've really boosted your career. He served as the president of Jefferson College from 1811 to 1816, and then moved to take a job at (get this) Washington College from 1817 to 1828. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew...ege_president)

You know that Goodell is aware of this. The greatest alumni Easter egg he could give to his school would be to hand the Lombardi Trophy to a guy named Andrew Wylie.

It's happening, folks.

At least there's the NFLN replay.

mlyonsd 09-21-2018 10:20 AM

I have to drive 40 miles to a bar with the Sunday ticket.

I'm not about to miss Pat's debut at home.

The NFL is supposed to be allowing for more flexibility away from that old set-up (i.e. allowing for a game with two AFC teams to be on Fox, games with two NFC teams to be on CBS, NFC team hosting an AFC team to be on Fox, etc.) to feature better match-ups.

htismaqe 09-21-2018 12:37 PM

Oh dear, I just realized that Green Bay is playing freaking Washington...I'm gonna have to find a stream I guess.

htismaqe 09-22-2018 08:43 PM

I knew installing an omni-directional antenna would eventually pay off!

Des Moines and Cedar Rapids are showing GB-Washington but Ottumwa is showing the Chiefs.

R Clark 09-22-2018 09:06 PM

Where's the place to go and watch in Nashville ?
