BrownStain: Have you noticed . . . . . .
that 4 of the 6 threads at the top of the board have to do with the Browns (5 of 7 now)?
Interesting times we live in. That is all. |
Because they're acting like the Redskins of old.
"The Browns are winning free agency while Veach sits on his ass! BECAUSE CHIEFS!!!" :deevee: |
I thought this thread was about your underwear...
|
The Browns are building a roster that is already better than ours.
Two of the biggest mistakes the Chiefs have made in recent years, firing Dorsey and releasing Hunt, are coming back to bite us in a big way. |
Meanwhile...
Bill Belichick is on vacation right now... |

I just want to see a commitment to winning from this organization. Right now I see that from the Browns but I don't see it from the Chiefs, who are unloading players for pennies in return when we should be going all in on Mahomes' rookie deal. The opportunity to win championships only gets harder from here. 50 years is a long time. I just want the nightmare to end. |
Dorsey is an Evil Genius!!!
He took a bunch of our scouts. Then he took the RB we used to have who is still on the exempt list! Then he took our #2 tight end! How, pray tell, will we ever compete against the great Dorsey and his brilliant machinations? I know ... let's let him pay for some more of our useless crap. FAX |

I can see it now, first round of the playoffs. Browns are down by 4, no time left on the clock Demetrius Harris is wide open in the end zone...
Would browns fans like to know how this story ends? |
Have you noticed they are getting half the air time on the networks? They are the new Rams.

We had made some extremely, at least they ended up that way, bad deals and overpayed players who were not even close to living up to their contracts. We purged them. Let’s be like the Pats and not make those mistakes again. No player loyalty. You don’t perform you are gone. They have had Brady which allowed them to do that. We have Mahomes. We can be that way too.

It’s all media hype until it’s proven on the field. Steelers had great rosters on paper from 2014-2018 and they have no more to show for it than the 2018 Chiefs. The game is played on the grass in winter, not in team offices in March. We were 16 points better than Cleveland last year. Now they’re trying to close that gap, and it’s our job to make sure we can stay ahead. That’s what FA/Draft is for. We tore down a shack to build a house and you’re upset we haven’t put the walls in yet. Chill |
Hope you guys enjoyed your limelight this past season. Mayfield and Co is already stealing your thunder starting this season. You got Mahomes and Hill, but Browns got a squad. I think the Raiders will have a more talented roster than Chiefs when football starts in September. Chargers > Raiders > Chiefs > Broncos ( in terms of projected talent level to start 2019, not saying the records will mirror this). Gotta love football for this reason, so much can change from one season to another.

We never have talent, we’re in constant decline. Mahomes does a good job carrying the load though. Should’ve won 2 MVPs last year. Could you imagine how good the stacked Raiders would’ve been if they had only drafted Mahomes? |

Can't wait for the first OBJ in Browns uniform melt down.
Should be epic entertainment |
I'm ****ing tired of hearing about the browns already

But hey, winning the offseason! |
The whole Browns thing is making me think of that Dennis Green press conference.
“IF YOU WANNA CROWN EM, THEN CROWN THEIR ASS” Browns are looking nice right now, for sure, but I’m not entirely convinced they end up having a better season than the Steelers. We’ll see. |

Chubb/Hunt>Williams/Hyde OBJ/Landry>Hill/Watkins Kelce>Njoku Browns D>Chiefs D The Browns are objectively a better roster at this moment in time. |

-1 even +1 -1 Looks about even to me. Either way, should be a good run for both teams. |

Yeah idk if this is an unpopular opinion but Hill is better than OBJ. And I don’t even hesitate in making that declaration.

Let’s call it a wash rather than the Browns duo being better. Also OBJ hasn’t exactly been the shining example of good health, fwiw. |

Steelers had a “better roster” than us last year too.
Coaching, chemistry, and elite quarterbacking were the difference between KC and Pittsburgh despite their “superior” roster |
