Media slamming Tongue Ticklin' Tom (Brady)

Tom Brady slammed for jumping off a cliff in Costa Rica with daughter, 6: 'Irresponsible'

The New England Patriots quarterback and husband of supermodel Gisele, posted the video, shot at a waterfall during a family trip to Costa Rica. In it, Vivi, wearing a pink bathing suit, stands on top of the cliff next to her father.

“Ready?” the 41-year-old asks his daughter. He counts to three and the two jump from the rocks while holding hands. “If Vivi is going to be an Olympic champion one day, it probably won’t be in synchronized diving,” Brady wrote on Instagram. “Daddy always gives her a 10 though!”

The athlete commented under the video, “I didn’t want to be the first Brady to fall off a cliff!”

The daredevil move shocked Brady’s friends. “You KNOW I have complete faith in you as a man, friend, player and father – but this just gave me anxiety. Geeezus,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wrote, while Diddy added a crying face emoji.

“You basically tried to kill her,” wrote someone.

“Nothing like getting a torn labrum at 10 years old,” added another. And a person remarked, “He was in motion, if he let her go she could have been seriously injured on the rocks.”

There were tweets that the star was “irresponsible” and that the 6-year-old appeared nervous to make the leap.

Brady and Gisele, who have been married for ten years, have previously endured parenting judgement. In 2018, during his Facebook documentary series, “Tom vs. Time” Brady gave his 11-year-old son Jack a quick kiss on the lips, which was widely described as inappropriate.

And when the New England Patriots lost the 2018 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, Gisele was called patronizing for telling her disappointed children, “...Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes.’’

Gisele wrote on Twitter, "Just to be clear. No one 'let' anyone win. People win because of their own merit. Tired of people twisting my words to create drama that doesn't exist!"

TEX 07-21-2019 06:28 AM

Did Gisele's family call CPS?

WhiteWhale 07-21-2019 07:02 AM

KChiefs1 07-21-2019 07:46 AM

Has anyone blamed Reek yet?

FringeNC 07-21-2019 07:56 AM

The type of person outraged by that is the type of person that calls the police when they see unattended children playing outside.

Gravedigger 07-21-2019 07:59 AM

Did he kiss Robert Kraft on the lips before he made the harrowing leap?

Rain Man 07-21-2019 08:03 AM

Pulling a female off a cliff is far worse than shoving a female in a hotel.

Like this needed a new thread.

I hate Tom Brady as much as anyone, but this is a non-issue.

On another note: the article said his parenting recently came under fire for giving his son a "quick kiss on the lips" lol nah, dawg. There was lip contact for like 3 seconds. Brady was savoring that kiss.

What makes them think it was only lip to lip contact?

People need to stop posting their ****ing business for the world to watch and complaining when it gets judged.

ShortRoundChief 07-21-2019 08:50 AM

Glad she survived injury free. Him, not so much.

scho63 07-21-2019 09:08 AM

Is the NFL gonna suspend him two games for child abuse?

Agreed. Especially since it is only a 10 foot drop. How many other millions of people did that on that day?

Everything's offensive.

The internet gives everyone a voice. That is not a good thing.

Chief Northman 07-21-2019 10:25 AM

I hate Tom Brady and everything Patriots.

But good on him for not bubble wrapping his kids.

UPDATE!!!!!

Brooke Pryor & Angie Ricono spotted at Boston Logan Int'l Airport carrying a pitchfork and torch, respectively.

listopencil 07-21-2019 11:06 AM

He should have just thrown her off the cliff and then checked to make sure she came back up to the surface. It was only a ten foot drop.

Lprechaun 07-21-2019 12:58 PM

I'm just going to reply to those who say Hill broke his sons arm with "well Brady drug his daughter off a cliff"... it's about as true a statement

raidersnumber1 07-21-2019 01:11 PM

If you can break your kid's arm, be recorded verbally threatening your kid's mother with prior history of a domestic violence conviction, and still get to play in the NFL like nothing happened, surely this will land Mr. Brady an 8 game suspension. ;) #NFLLogic

They teach Raider fans how to read still? I think they missed one here

T-post Tom 07-21-2019 03:53 PM

I didn't know faider fans still existed. Probably a dolt fan in sheep's clothing. ROFL
