Suprise Chiefs player put on the PUP to start camp
 

Happens every year with every team that a player surprisingly is put on there and everyone freaks out.

Which Chiefs player starts this camp on it?

Didn't Frank Clark have some injury issues last year?

Wasn't Kelce a full participant in OTAs and minicamp? I know Clark was there.

I'll say Deon Yelder is on PUP, because he's like the only guy I can think of who had a previous injury and coming in everybody said, "Well, he's projected to be ready by the start of camp, but you never know..."

I don't know about PUP. That's difficult to predict.

However, I did put money down on Big Backflip Boy to be the first player to puke during drills.

Kemp has already had 2 full seasons to make an impression with the Chiefs. This year is shit or get off the pot time for him. There is no "let's see where you are next year..."

I'm not saying the player will actually be hurt that bad or miss time.

It just happens every year with nearly every team.

JJ Watt and Hopkins are on it, Flowers is on it etc.

They aren't missing time but people are freaking out about it on twitter, which is real life.

I'm guessing they may start Kelce on there just to ease him in, people freak and then he has an all pro year and we all forget.

I wouldn't call those surprises though. We knew they were injured from the previous season. I guess I should have been more specific about the surprise part.

Sorensen (sp?) was a surprise last year.

He didn't "start" TC on PUP, of course. But it was a surprise that he wound up there for so damn long.
