Marcus Peters to the Ravens

Marcus Peters to Ravens?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">As <a href="https://twitter.com/RobParkerFS1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@RobParkerFS1</a> reported, Ravens have been talking to the Rams about a deal for CB Marcus Peters. Hahaha
|
Peters has sucked this year right along with Talib.
|
Hopefully it's not a good player or that makes us look stupid...
|
The Rams probably can't afford to give him whatever stupid contract he's asking for
|
Rams are sick of his shit, too.
Hope you like Baltimore, you burning grease-fire of a "human" |
shit we may see him in the playoffs.
We can burn him in the playoffs but i'm one who wishes we never got rid of his dipshittery that would give the ball back to the offense. Our turnovers have gone way down since he left. |
Rams are tanking. Can we get an affordable DL from them?
|
I'm sure his lack of tackling effort will go over really well in an organization that prides itself on defense.

So much for playing in your home state dipshit.

Peters is going to AB himself right out of the NFL soon. But not soon enough, tbh.

Kenny Young is pretty much a slightly better version of Dorian O'Daniel so it is what it is.

I mean even if Dorsey was focused on guard, I have no idea how you take Corbett over Will Hernandez. I'll give him a pass on Braden Smith (who I wouldn't have expected to be this good), but Hernandez appeared to be the clear #2 interior lineman in that draft (after Nelson). Maybe Ragnow, but he was gone already. Corbett was a complete whiff. |
Nnadi straight up for Aaron Donald!!! He’s younger and cheaper. Good deal for the Rams.

We won the Peters trade

Maybe we should try and swing for Brockers as a rental on the cheap, if the Rams are having a miniature fire sale.
|
Veach won the Peters trade
|
Also an undisclosed pick from the Ravens.

I watched Peters in that SF-Rams game. He is god awful in run support. He refuses to tackle anything but a wide receiver. No way he'll help bring down a Tight End or running back. He's making business decisions on every play. That BS is not gonna play well with Baltimore, who prides itself on aggressive defense and a hard hitting secondary.

Also, conspiracy theory, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Peters had another outburst. The timing/compensation of this trade makes no sense unless the Rams wanted him gone NOW.

"He must have a DV arrest on the way...." And as it turns out they just didn't want to pay the guy when they had this Hill fella they thought might be pretty good if they gave him a shot at the Z position. Sometimes you just wanna see someone else play. It is odd, though - Marcus Peters has been pretty good this year. Not quite elite, but probably a top 20ish guy. But they pretty clearly knew they weren't bringing him back next year so they decided to salvage the asset. |
We should have traded the Rams Hitchens for Peters!

Well that makes the Ravens stronger the next time we face them. They already have a good corner in Humphrey. We talk shit about him not wanting to tackle but we won’t exploit it because we don’t run the ball. He’ll always be amped to play us!
