Of course I get the Chargers/Broncos.

If the Chiefs game didn't get flexed, I would have enjoyed watching that cripple fight

I hate that Des Moines is always Vikings, Packers or Bears regardless of how good another game is and how terrible anyone of the three are. I mean I know why, but it should be optional in cities and areas that aren't in a single teams region. I know that won't happen, at least any time soon

Rats. I'll have to go to a sports bar.

Ravens/49ers and then Chiefs/Raiders is the best Sunday I've had in a long time, and then I can turn off the TV Sunday night so I don't get the stupid Patriots shoved down my throat. Perfect.

You might like the outcome of the Patriots game

Isn't the Ravens/49ers game the Sunday night game?

I might. But after the sinking of the Titan(ic) game, the best outcome for playoff seeding now might be for the Patriots to win against the Texans due to spurious officiating, and that's going to annoy me. So I'll be annoyed if they win due to spurious officiating, and I'll be annoyed if they lose since it'll hurt our playoff seeding. And since it's a Patriots game it'll be boring anyway.
Probably best to just avoid.

nfl.com is currently showing them as the 1:00 game, and the Patriots/Texans snoozefest as the Sunday night game.

Hmm. I guess I haven't been paying close enough attention.

Understandable.

I really haven't been paying any attention.

Do people actually enjoy watching the Patriots? Their games are SO ****ing boring. The most fun to come out of one of their borefests is when they happen to lose. That's it.

DJJasonp 11-27-2019 02:56 PM

Somewhere, NFL TV execs still think there are people in So-Cal that give a **** about the chargers........

Sigh.

As a kid, I remember that there were high school and college basketball games where one team completely outclassed another. Before there was a shot clock, the weaker team would just slow down the game to nothingness, holding the ball and passing it when it was safe, and never shooting. Their goal was to keep the score as low as possible in the hopes that they'd occasionally get a lucky shot to win it. The shot clock was implemented because those games were so boring that fans revolted.

That's the New England Patriots these days, except at the end of the game the refs will call a bogus foul to send them to the free throw line for the game winning free throws.

I get the Donks/Chargers? **** you CBS!

jjchieffan 12-01-2019 10:37 AM

Good. For the early game, we get to watch the 49ers expose the team with an extra running back but no quarterback

Hoping Bosa knocks him out.

Not on this end, I get served up a steaming pile of Packers/Giants. :shake: I'm going to be on a stream quest for both games.
