Old timer story... Tailgating in November maybe 8-9 years ago, Lot b, had my shelter up, grill rolling and parking lot filling up. Had a pot of spiced cider hot. I served spiced cider with butterscotch schnapps...great stuff but sneaky as hell. Son was setting up the meat for me to get ready to cook..had 14 customers coming to join us. We had a full bar set up on table. Rain was falling, generally shitty weather and I hear a voice behind me ask if he could shelter from the rain.... So I turn around and here I am face to face with Willie Lanier.....it was the annual game when the ring of honor guys came back..who knew? We had a great visit, what a nice humble and genuine man Was an honor to fix him a Cider...and he loved that kick from the schnapps....even took one to go! Arrowhead gives so many fun memories... 150 |

It's really a bittersweet video. Seeing Jamaal, DJ, and Tamba in that video just makes me sad because they never had this opportunity and they played their asses off every single week. Those guys deserved to feel thus kind of success.
Could you imagine JC in this offense? People were talking about how much Kareem would help us, but hes not on the same level as Jamaal. Jamaal may have been one of the top 5 best RBs to ever play the game. If we had DJ in his prime on this D, then it would most likely be the number 1 D in the league. In 2015, his last season in which he was a difference maker, the D was ranked 8th against the run. After DJ stopped producing at a high level our defense went to shit. How awesome would it have been to have Jones, Clark, and Tamba on our D line? Opposing offenses wouldn't be able to get a pass off. To this day ive never seen so many holds that werent called on a player in my life. Man I miss those 3. |

My wife and I will be calling it quits once my boy Golden Retriever Rusty passes. I couldn’t take him away from her and his little sister. Well he had an appt Monday and one of his tumors is a cancer spindle. Vet Dr. called last night. So I’m already tender hearted, lol. This video brought out the waterfalls, good gravy. Some kind of man I am, smh. |
Really wish DT was around to join in the celebration hopefully he is looking down and enjoying this success with the rest of us
