We’ve reached that point of the offseason
Every year it never fails LMAO

How anyone can see anything better than 10-6...???
Chiefs worst scenario...12-4. |
A tradition unlike any other.

Jesus. ****ing. Christ.

Offseason champions, 12 years running.

So I actually wasted the time needed to see what this “analysis” consisted of. To claim the top spot the Chargers are expected to go 8-8 with a 10% chance of winning the AFC West.
Good job Chargers! |
Does the Chargers' front office pay these guys to say this? Every single year everyone says this. And every year they disappoint everyone.

We win the AFC West four years in a row.. We win the SB and these dumbasses still pick the Chargers???
GOD DAMM ****ING SHIT MOTHER****ERS!!! HOLY **** BAGS!! EAT ****NG HUGE OVERFLOWING BAG OF ****ING DICKS WHILE GETTING ASS REEMED BY KING ****ING KONG!!! I feel better now... |
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a team so determined to be the Marty era Chiefs.
|
They will have fake crowd noise to aid them this season. Maybe that will encourage them to live up to the hype a little more.
Also Tyrod Taylor (lmao). |

Why does the media love the Chargers so much?

Death, taxes, and predicting the Chargers to win the west.

The Chiefs have won the West more recently than the Chargers...with Matt Cassel.

Just clicked the thread and read the OP. and bursted out in laughter. This will be a good day now.

I read the article.
It’s not that they’re picking them to win the AFC West over the Chiefs. They ran a simulation of all 8 teams that finished last in their division this past year. And out of all of them, the Chargers won the highest % of Times (10 percent) of the other teams. Their actual predicted record is 8-8 for the season. So basically, if the Chargers and Chiefs played for the division title 10 times this season, one out of those 10 times, the Chargers would take the division over the Chiefs. I suppose when you figure in the actual talent on their roster, unpredictable things like injuries, bad luck, etc. it IS possible they could win one out of 10 times, just not realistic or likely, obviously. The Chiefs are a much better team and everyone knows it, including WaPo. So before everyone goes off the deep end about WaPo (yes, they’re still a terrible newspaper) picking Chargers to win the division over the Chiefs, that’s not actually what they’re doing if you read the article. |
Most likely with a 10% chance. They are really struggling to find content.

10x offseason champs. a true dynasty
USA Today has picked them six years in a row. But now that they have a rookie QB it is really their year lol |
They aren't picking them to win the West, they are saying they have the best chance of any of the other last place teams to do it. With their talent on defense I can't disagree. Which other last place team has a better chance?
|
I would be worried if the media didn't disrespect the Chiefs every offseason.
At least the 200 Charger fans out there have a "feel good" article they can read to get pumped up!! |

Chargers are the offseason champs again?
|
The question is would the Chiefs still win the division with Chad Henne or Moore off the street again? I'd say yes.

Id take the Redskins chances of catching the Eagles/Cowboys over the Chargers catching the Chiefs. Same with the Lions catching the Packers/vikings. Or Dolphins over the Bills/ Stidham Pats. The Chargers overtaking the Chiefs might actually be the least likely worst to first when you think about it, well the Bengals winning the North is the least likely. If your making the claim the Chargers are the best worst place team you might be right, but they also have the highest mountain to climb. |
Does it try to offset the spring police reports

Watching week 1 Browns vs Titans, man did Baker & the browns go from looking fantastic that first drive to the whole team (offense, defense, special teams) imploding the rest of the first half. 10 penalties for 107 against Clevland, 1 ejection and Garrett could have been another one for throwing a swing at the tackle blocking him. Even Odel going full special scrambling around trying to make a play instead of getting down for the TO & field goal try. ****ing tire fire at it's most majestic.

Raiders last won the Division in 2002. Clearly, there are zero active NFL players left from that team.
The Chargers last won the Division in 2009. I glanced over their roster, and I think Rivers is the last active player left from that team. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. The Broncos last won the Division in 2015. Clearly, there are several active players left from that team. If we take the Division the next 6-8 years (very possible with Mahomes), we might see an NFL with ZERO players who have won an AFC West title on a team other than the Chiefs. Super Bowl champion players would be more common in the League than AFC West champion players. |
|
Brett Veach better find his own asshole if he wants to dethrone the Chargers from their offseason champions throne any time soon!
|
Dan Patrick says the Chargers are going to win the division and challenge for the Super Bowl every frickin year. Just like he can't stand when people say that Jordan is better than Lebron at anything. He practically cries when somebody is critical of Lebron James. smh

WOW! Such mindless minds. Chiefs, Ravens, Titans, Bills. 49ers, Vikings, Saints, Cowboys. Please be Chiefs vs. Ravens, 49ers vs. Cowboys. Chiefs vs. Cowboys for another SB victory! :thumb: Just my .02

Watching Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAffe/AJ Hawk live stream show they did for the first round of the draft, & I'm loving Rodgers who's killing it (hilarious.) They ask him questions about who he thinks the GM will pick & if he will trade up, and Aaron spoke very favorably about GM. Wish he would have stuck around or they had him on later in the draft when the Packers actually did trade up and drafted Love. Hilarious first round draft coverage show though :thumb:
