Even the Chiefs can't beat the Chiefs

Turn the ball over 4 times and still win.

Petro was saying something about since 2010 teams that turn the ball over 4 times in a game are like 1-140 or some sick shit like that.

Sofa King 12-14-2020 10:45 PM

I feel like every week there’s some 0-120 or 1-259 stat that the Chiefs crush. It’s not even shocking anymore.

Not very plausible giving the ball away four times and allowing a 17 point 4th quarter rally, and you still record a win. Give up a worst of all time QB sack while you're at it.

Destiny!

Negative 3 differential you win about 8 percent of the time.

There can’t be very many 30 yard sacks in NFL history.

These guys are miracles.

Yep, destiny is the right word.

It was teams that turn it over four times were 11-141. Teams that turn it over four times against teams that ended up going to the playoffs were 1-99.

I think during the broadcast they mentioned it was two (2) 35 yard sacks in NFL history. We've all heard of the guy, but I can't recall his name right this second.

Stoney Case also fumbled on his 30-yard sack, which means Mahomes stands alone as the only guy to actually retreat 30 yards behind the line of scrimmage and get dropped.

Wow. That seems pretty significant. 1-99.

And the other side of this, as a fan, I was not worried. Annoyed, but not worried. Ever. At any point in that game.

I had my annual Arrowhead North party in my garage (yes, they were not playing in Arrowhead, but this was the best I could do in this crazy ass year). Most of my buddies are either neutral or fans of other teams. At one point after the Chiefs went down 10, they were all expecting me to get pissed, throw my hat (which used to be a weekly thing for me) start swearing, etc. And I just stood there shaking my head. "You getting pissed yet?" they asked. "Nope".

It's glorious to be a life long fan of the Chiefs. Right now, we have a team that is just not fair. Love it.
