All hail Brent Vartch

Think about how much money Mahomes is making in endorsements compared to a guy like Allen. Josh has to go for the money because he’s not marketable in the way Pat is. Mahomes will end up making more outside of football than he does actually playing. He knows that winning Super Bowls will keep that money flowing long after his career, like Jordan.
He’s not only the best player in football, he’s arguably the smartest. At the very least, he has very wise individuals advising him. Not being the highest paid just makes his reputation look even better. |
I’m so grateful that my favorite NFL GM, Brent Varch, happens to be apart of my favorite NFL team (Kansas City)! What are the odds!?

I wonder how much the other owners hate the browns owner for giving Watson that much guaranteed money. It set a precedent that I don't think they wanted.

The player is past tense on Russell. It gone

Denver is only overpaying by like 49 million a year

What is even more amazing is that KC had one total player on that list and that was Jones with his guaranteed money. This team has hosted five AFCCGs in a row, been to 3 of the last 4 SBs, won two of them and did all of this while having a QB that signed the biggest contract in professional sports history. What Veach has done is nothing short of spectacular.

Has a hell of a good reputation in MPLS Now they should have done the same to Jackson |
Why do I keep seeing people talking like the chiefs are hamstrung because Mahomes is 22% this year or whatever? He’s not even a blip on this radar, this is the new NFL. I had been assuming that Mahomes had like a monster payday year this year because of all the talk.
On a side note these contracts make it’s easier to swallow the eagles/9ers plan of rolling with whatever rookie you can make it work with and hoping they develop. |

Of course, he's beaten Allen and Burrow on their rookie contracts and who knows what percentage they'll end up at. |

Sherman blames Mahomes and Allen for Jackson not getting paid what he wants

They line up to protect Lamar like he's the only pussy at a 9 day sausage convention

“…But when he didn’t set it, then Josh Allen didn’t set it, now Lamar trying to set it after Deshaun already set it. And they all like, 'Nah. We ain't letting that go.'"
Any jive translators up this morning? |

The total guaranteed money is misleading because of mahomes rolling guarantees a year in advance. He basically had 9 years of his contract guaranteed because of the cap implications. So he doesn't show up on the list because they weren't fully guaranteed at signing but effectively they were.
In essence he got 400 mill guaranteed. |
