The last one was pretty good with most of the cast that is in this one but this looks pretty meh to me.

I’m not a huge fan or purist though I do like the movies. This seems like it is too over the top though.

Will see for Carrie Poon, I mean Coon.

Yeah, it didn't exactly grab me either, but the last one was awesome so I'll probably give it a shot.

My only gripe about the last one was too much kids, too little focus on Carrie Poon.

Looks good, although I'm not sure how the death chill can be avoided with puffy orange jackets. The first one was really good, great moments even though the old ghostbusters teleporting in from out of nowhere kinda had me both confused and excited at the same time, I really enjoyed it and the young cast didn't go too crazy with unbelievable acts of heroism. The big question is can you do a Ghostbusters movie without Egon's memory/ghost. I'll go see it, looks like a fun time.

Carrie Coon? I haven't heard of her, but what a name. LMAO

Eh. I haven't seen the last one yet. Was it any good or just another rehash fer cash?

It was great. I think they really grasped what made the original movies special while also introducing new characters into that world.

I liked of course they're trying to appeal to kids more but it had enough of the old cast and Kumail Ali Nanjiani did a good with his role.

Afterlife was fantastic. I honestly liked it as much as the original. Even the kids didn't annoy me, which is highly unusual.

I'll watch this, but I'll wait until it streams.

It’s good but nothing to get too excited about. The story is what suffers the most, too many ghostbusters introduced or kept on from previous films, there’s cool elements to this movie but it was just handled in the wrong way. I would agree in the 6-7 range.

Pretty meh.

The 12 and 8 year olds loved it.
I cried.

It's OK. Starts off kind of slow and then gets r e a l l y slow. They did a lot of cheesy, cheap, cliché, lazy storytelling stuff throughout the movie and that really weighs down the middle of the movie. It does eventually pick up and the last half hour or so is as good as the whole movie should have been.

Seems like most movies in the last five (or more) years have been put together very poorly.

Why write movies when you can just have AI do it?

That's actually one thing that made me laugh during the Hollywood strike. They were so vocal about AI taking over. I'm not sure what exactly those writers and actors think they're providing now that's so valuable.

My kids wanted me to take them to see this so I did.

It was fun, but not a good film.

Yeah, Afterlife is legit good. Across the board.

They even do fan service while still telling a story and just absolutely nailed the gut-punch at the end.

It's pretty much as well as you can do one of those combined sequel/reboots.
