CEH is back

**** so no Dobbins I'm guessing?
|
Please tell me you're referring to the orangutan from "Every Which Way But Loose".
|
Played well for us in spot duty last year and is better than CP gives him credit for.
|
We need a better backup. As the 3rd option fine.
|
Uhhh

Not thrilled but makes sense I suppose.

TO THE SCEHP!
|
I like him as a 3rd option. Not necessarily as a backup.
|
Guess they didn't wanna pay what Dobbins was asking for?
|
He wants 3

LOL
Ofcourse we signed him. |
3.2 ypc last year.
You also had Dobbins in the building. What in thee **** is goin on. I feel like im taking crazy pills |
literally why lol
i trust in veach for everything but this move **** ceh |
Slow, goes down on first contact, lacks vision and can’t play on 3rd down bc he’s a terrible blocker.
Yay |
What is the vet min?
Well whatever it is it is too much for this fashion show parade skipping shithead |

I'd take any rb in the league over him
|
dumb
|
He’s going to be extremely cheap, no other team wanted him for a reason. It is what it is.
|
"The #Chiefs have agreed to terms with their former first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire on a 1-year deal, sources say. Their starter until a rookie drafted in the 7th round took his job is back for another shot."
Fixed. |
Good option out of the backfield good in pass pro Andy loves him tough to bring down
|
Dobbins better have been missing his leg
|
Chiefs didn’t like Dobbins medical. Pretty clear picture here. Achilles is a major injury for a skill position player.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">JK Dobbins, who visited KC today, remains a free agent. <a href="https://t.co/HzzUUeaGWK">https://t.co/HzzUUeaGWK</a></p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1775256468893073874?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 2, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Good dude, zero drama, but also...not very good. If it's for peanuts that's fine. We'll still need another RB. I liked Dobbins a lot but he was even more banged up than CEH

..... wait |
Would rather dobbins of course but ceh was pretty good down the stretch. Dude has no vision so he committed to just getting strong as hell and decisively power forward. It's fine in spot duty as a cheap backup.
The guy we really need a replacement for is McKinnon and I'm really hoping we find some kind of speed rb midget in the draft |
His job maybe to keep Toney & possibly Hartman's heads clear. That amount of smelling salts is no easy load
|
Mahomes loves him
|
I'm surprised but not displeased.
|
The CEH haters are ridiculous. Kid has been fine. It’s not his fault we have shifty draft position.
|
He's gonna cost nothing lol.
I see no issue with this. |

NOW the Sneed trade makes total sense. :spock:

Could be worse. Could be Hardman.
|
Well at least I have my person to hate all year. This dude sucks. As a team that's had historically great RB's the last 20 years we should recognize that.
|
Run it Back vs Run it Back BETTER.
I’d to see a little more of the latter. |
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Can confirm Clyde Edwards-Helaire has agreed to a 1-year deal to re-sign with the Chiefs, per sources.<br><br>As for JK Dobbins, I'm told his visit today was productive for both parties, perhaps a partnership that could happen later this offseason. <a href="https://t.co/QVvJ7xbcsz">https://t.co/QVvJ7xbcsz</a></p>— Nate Taylor (@ByNateTaylor) <a href="https://twitter.com/ByNateTaylor/status/1775256442980663452?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 2, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Guessing CEH is insurance in case the RB we want in the draft isn't there in the 5th round or something.

He was decent in limited snaps. Did some hard running, and I've liked him catching the ball.
As long as the money is $0, I'm good. |
Hopefully dirt cheap.
|
Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm ok with it
Its not like the RB room is just gonna be him and Pacheco, we'll have some other options/skillsets |

More likely to be available and is a better pure complement to Dobbins. He's nothing special, but he's a solid receiving back, has improved as a pass blocker, knows the protections and has at least learned to run with power. I think he's a better fit than Dobbins would've been. And I question if Dobbins has anything left at all. That's just too damn many lower body injuries. |
He was good to kids during the shooting. He’s good in my book.
|
Just mailed in a No vote on the tax extension
|
Are we getting chubby MEH?

He's made strides there. Especially this season where he largely decided he was just going to turn into a bowling ball. the extra weight helped him as a blocker as well. He wasn't asked to do a ton of it this season, but I felt like he improved quite a bit there. I can really only think of one instance where he got Mahomes hit; that Chiefs/Patriots game in December. He's fine in a backup role. I still want to add a speed threat that can make even more of a niche contributor, but at what he'll almost certainly cost (next to nothing) he's a fine guy to have around. |
CEH looks like he was told to run more like Pacheco this last year.
Because when he just causally dances around it sucks. Looks a lot better when he runs hard. |
Quickly becoming the next Gehrig Dieter

Signing all these players to 1 year deals is just another brilliant move by the master Veach. Playing for your next contract creates performance.
