Worth it.

Cooter Bailey 03-09-2025 05:43 PM

Hell, Patrick’s next contract will probably be a billion per year.

SHOWTIME 03-09-2025 05:46 PM

Lots of money for someone who can't get to the SB...

Think of all the money we will free up every season when he restructures!

louie aguiar 03-09-2025 05:50 PM

Well deserved

OnTheWarpath15 03-09-2025 05:50 PM

Good for him, dude deserves it.

Jewish Rabbi 03-09-2025 05:55 PM

If we’re handing out a quarter billion to people who can’t win the AFC Championship and outkicked their coverage on their wife, sign me up.

Deberg_1990 03-09-2025 06:05 PM

Money well spent

DRM08 03-09-2025 06:10 PM

He went easy on the Buffalo front office at $55M per year considering the Dak Prescott salary of $60M per year.

ChiefsCountry 03-09-2025 06:11 PM

Bills will petition the league to make Chiefs pay Mahomes a billion dollars

Will never win a SB so good for him grabbing the bag.

What the hell? Lose to Mahomes and Burrow for 5 years in a row and het more money? KC getting screwed. Media will demand Mahomes get more.

MahomesMagic 03-09-2025 06:26 PM

Should be elite for at least 3 more years.

His playing style will shorten his career as he heavily depends on being used as a fullback.

Chain reaction. Blame Cleveland and the Watson deal.

Who else will they be able to sign?

TwistedChief 03-09-2025 07:15 PM

Anyone who thinks this contract isn't deserved because "blah blah he doesn't beat Mahomes in the playoffs" has no clue anout this sport. Absolutely none and it's embarrassing.

Dante84 03-09-2025 07:19 PM

Curious how it’s structured and it’s impact on their cap situation

Didn't know we were being serious.

I'm going to keep shitting on Josh because it's fun.

You get 6 minutes to do whatever you want with Hailee but first you have to let Josh Allen rim you.

You in or out?

Best QB in football other than Mahomes and it isn’t close.

Well deserved.

Yep. The reason the Bills haven’t beaten the Chiefs in the playoffs is because their defensive head coach’s defense never has any answer for Andy and Mahomes.

Stryker 03-09-2025 08:43 PM

Good for him! Congrats! :thumb:

Hammock Parties 03-09-2025 09:30 PM

No matter how much money he gets he has to live with his wife ****ing other men on camera.

Why Not? 03-09-2025 10:06 PM

There is no shame in forever being the conference silver (or bronze) medalist. The second best in most other industries gets paid very well also.

I still don't know the difference, and I'm fine with that.

DynastyChiefs 03-09-2025 10:37 PM

That is a dumb contract by the Bills, win the Superbowl then give him that contract

Mahomes007 03-09-2025 11:54 PM

Dumb contract? He's the reigning NFL MVP and a perennial MVP candidate. The man is great. Better than Dak and the few others who will be making more.

Fishels 03-10-2025 12:08 AM

All this just for another Chiefs SB. 😎

Until someone breaks him during a designed run.

Rainbarrel 03-10-2025 06:42 AM

Give Lamar MVPs for throwing over 3,000 yards
Allen MVP for having under 10 INTs
Stay healthy and it may be Burrow in 2025

stevieray 03-10-2025 07:43 AM

Great QB. Kudos to him.

That said, the guy flops way too much for someone who is 6'5".

I stopped respecting him when he threw the football @ CJ after a sack.

Like a big baby.

ThrobProng 03-10-2025 11:52 AM

That contract is the best participation award in history.

After this season I don’t think Chiefs fans can complain about this lol

Probably the only other QB that actually deserves to be paid over $45M/yr.

Rain Man 03-10-2025 12:17 PM

Even non-Super Bowl teams need quarterbacks for the regular season and the first round of the playoffs.

scho63 03-10-2025 02:10 PM

I don't agree with Craig Carton very often but he really made a ton of great points this morning as to why the hell did the Bills do this? No clear reason.

Does anyone have insight?

To reward the face of their franchise who has never once bemoaned his well under market contract. Like Mahomes, a rework of his contract was inevitable and best done now before top 5 QB salaries are in the 60-70M range. Most importantly, the extension provides a good chunk of cap savings this year.

It’s a backloaded contract that I think actually gains them space short-term.

Pepe Silvia 03-10-2025 10:00 PM

I will always call him Tostito Boy.

Because of recent contracts for inferior QB’s getting $55-60M per year while Allen was sitting at $43M per year on his old deal. Seems like he was generous to do this deal at $55M per year instead of demanding $65M per year.

Didn't we do that with Kelce?
