He didn't get squeezed IMO. He was missing outside, and then hung one in the strike zone towards the outside that was hit into the LF corner, which MJ bobbled for a second and then made a bad throw resulting in the bases clearing double.

The Royals have one of the highest chase rates in the league. Watching players with < .200 batting averages swing at balls in their eyes and in the dirt seems like we have a serious coaching problem. Do our players ever watch tape of them batting? Would it help? Or do the Royals draft bad hitters like the Chiefs draft CBs who never look for the ball?

Q is so bad at bullpen management. Yost was pretty bad at it, as well, but he did adjust (helped to have HDH).

I'm just not sure Q is the right guy once this team is full competitive.
