In.

Will be rooting for the kid from St. Joe as much as the Royals tonight. Hopefully he can do to the Rays what other pitchers traditionally do to the Royals during their MLB debuts.
Good luck Noah! And good luck to Tyler to steal 2nd, 3rd, and home!! LET'S GO ROYALS!!
My son is a senior on the baseball team and gets to make occasional starts for Central HS, where Noah pitched. Has to be pretty cool for my son to think a kid in the same place as him seven years ago is now pitching for the Royals.
Bad news for the Royals: they are up against Drew Rasmussen. He went to Oregon State. Gotta feel bad for Cameron having to go up against a Beaver like that. Real tough draw.
Then again Matt Boyd is on the mound today for the Cubs and he also went to Oregon State. If you're in the majors, you're gonna end up facing a lot of Beavs is the bottom line. |

The streak continues

PBJ PBJ
Vinnie Dong!! 2-0 Rs
I forgot the Rays are playing in a little league field this season. Total was only 7.5 too. What a wasted opportunity to have hit the over.
A winning bet not made is the same as a losing bet, as I always say. |
Gatdamn Cameron, five pitch debut inning? Nice work!
Cameron with a 5 pitch major league debut 1st inning 1-2-3.
Overreaction time...dfa Stratton, lorenzen to the pen and it's Noah's time to shine PBJ

Ump certainly giving Cameron the rookie treatment in this inning.
Cameron is apparently the Royals #5 prospect.
DP to end the inning!
Isbel with ANOTHER base running blunder.
And witt gets caught stealing. Way to squander the leadoff runner with no outs.

This team seriously needs to write Rusty Kuntz a blank check and get his ass back to coaching these mofos how to run the bases.

Wonder if Drew is any relation to Dennis Rasmussen... Anyone here remember that guy? He was kinda the anti-Big Unit. Big tall lefty who threw nothing but soft, softer and softer junk.
I remember the name, but not the person.
This is really awesome watching the st joe fam represent
Damn, are we looking at a 90 minute game? This thing is flying along...

I not going to say anything but Cameron looking like he might do something special
Atta boy Bobby! That's the kind of timely hitting we've been missing!
My God, what an amazing piece of hitting by BWJ.
1000 total bases in 500 career games is phenomenal.
Hope he can keep the efficiency with his pitches going
3-0 good guys, middle of the 5th
Vinnie has really turned into the lefty version of Rob Deer. Just a pull happy, swing out of your shoes hacker. Dude needs to look at some of his old tapes, or a Mike Sweeney type.
Cavan Biggio is no Craig Biggio.

Nice.
There we go, now THAT'S some heads up baserunning. Nice work Salvy/Maikel.
Damn, look at Salvy hustling for third!
The Tampa LF looks like a kitty kat with his black liner.
How cute. |

Back to back clown at bats by Waters and Renfroe.
Waters gets a pass. Renfrow: **** you! |
Rex with a "wow" acting shocked that Hunter Renfrow strikes out on 3 pitches with runners in scoring position. Did anybody on the planet think he'd do something better?
dammit we never get these guys home with no outs.
Cavan Biggio is no Craig Biggio.
That about as hard as Biggio can hit a baseball.
Goddamn... Biggio was one batter too late. Shit ab's from Waters and Renfroe **** us again...
Please, someone, take a torpedo bat and take out Renfroe. What a useless ****.

I’m not sure about his ‘stuff’, but the kid throws strikes. I’ll give him that.
68 pitches, 40 strikes. That said, if you keep hanging sliders up in the zone like that, good major league hitters will destroy that shit. Lucky were facing the Rays and not the Yankees. |
That was a really impressive inning for Cameron.
Noah Cameron tossin a No Hitter thru six! Lets torch his arm leggo
In my experience as a Royals fan, most years this guy would go into the season as the #2 starter. Our logjam means he'll likely be back in Omaha sooner than later.

Ok Debbie downer! Let’s just enjoy this!! |
Still 3 zip after 6 full.
Cameron throws some nasty pitches.

I will admit that Isbel is playing better after the non stop shit I threw at him. Renfroe has replaced him for now as the new target.

Great debut.
Great night, kid. Holy shit.
Some of y’all get too excited (about the possibility of a no hitter). Nobody should give a shit about a no hitter/perfect game until after 7 innings.
Great job Noah!!
Nice job rookie! Now get him the win!!
