Henry-I watch one program, that's it. Ask me anything about anything else on tv except that or the Chiefs/Rams/Tigers and you will get a blank stare.

I watched about twenty minutes of it one night. Seemed overwraught and silly to me. Other than that, read stories about it in the paper. Good bathroom material.

I'd be embarrassed to admit this in real life, but its easy to hide when you're just a cyberguy labled "lurker." I've tried to watch some of it to see whats up with the phenominal success. The production is so bad its insulting. The target IQ is so base and primitive that it feels like an indictment of your character just to watch it. Base, bane, more than and a waste of time.

I've seen it because my g/f digs it. I don't think I could tell you any of their names if that indicates what my interest level is/was. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the outback stuff next year though. I have my kids for 2 hours on Wednesday nights so I rarely tuned in otherwise I'd probably have watched more often. i was gonna keep going to the other bb and just look around but there is never anything decent there worth looking at. they are all posts about who all is still there and bad mouthing everybody who left. oh well. we got this awesome bb now so i guess everyone will be happy now where their at.

Never watched it either, after seeing the first "vote" while flicking through the channels. It looked like a stage setting. From then on I ignored any radio or TV coverage of it. Glad to see I am not alone!

The show may gag you, but there is something interesting in the amazing popularity. Some voyueristic (sp) tendency of our new wave society is being addressed by Survivor and Big Brother. The rules are set up to pit one against the others, and the audience eats it up. They get to watch true pain, deception, backstabbing, and tears. Like peeping thru the window at a dysfunctional family as they hurt each other. Why are we drawn to this spectacle of artificially induced but real human suffering? Most are repulsed by it, but many, many folks eat it up like candy. The shows popularity says something about us in general, but I'm not yet sure what that is.

Uck... 'reality' shows. What a farce! OK, stick 10-15 totally different individuals into a confined area - force them to interact on a constant basis, where competition, i.e. the quest to win $1mil or whatever, forces them to single each other out for expulsion. Yeah, that sounds like my life all right! 'Reality' based my *** !
The Real Whiners, errr World™ was enough to make me HATE, not dislike, not grudgingly accept, but HATE MTV. Now the 'big three' (CBS, ABC, NBC) want to copy from MTV's template? I hated reality TV when Cops and America's Most Wanted came out. I have not watched a single video episodic show since.....
