Anybody interested in purchasing my season tix?

I have been going back and forth on whether to renew my seats next year, they are in section 322 row 3 (I have 4 tickets, located between the 25-30 yard line). I will definitely be going to some games next year, but I have been unable to attend more than 4-5 the last couple of seasons. I'd like to keep the tickets in my name so that I have the ability to stay in my seats in future seasons, if anyone is interested in purchasing my tickets for next year let me know. I haven't received the renewal information yet, but from my understanding the price will stay the same as last year at $780/seat. They are great seats, if anyone would like to see pics from our view I can send some.

In58men 01-06-2013 04:42 PM

$780 a ****ing seat?

Good god

Or is that for the whole season?

I'm confused

Who am I

Mr. Flopnuts 01-06-2013 04:43 PM

Yeah, that's got to be a typo. In section 322? Bullshit they're 780 a seat.

Not a typo. Tickets are $78 a piece if you buy season tickets, 88 if you buy single game tickets. 10 games at 78 is 780.

He's telling the truth. Low rows on the sidelines are $78 a ticket X 10 games.

That's Sunday Ticket (better seats then all of arrowhead) and I have some change left to rent a gun and buy a bullet for the guy who tried to screw me out of my money.

lewdog 01-06-2013 04:45 PM

We don't have a QB yet.

DO NOT WANT.

BlackHelicopters 01-06-2013 04:45 PM

78 dollars a game to see the Chiefs?

Reerun_KC 01-06-2013 04:46 PM

Hard to go to games when you have Sunday Ticket... I can sit here and watch the Chiefs, Redzone and another game of interest in the Party Shak... Really hard to drop coin for Arrowhead.

Not enough game updates or entertainment for the value of the ticket.

Sunday Ticket is making stadiums obsolete...

Mr. Flopnuts 01-06-2013 04:47 PM

Holy shit. That's crazy to me. $780 a seat to sit in the upper deck. I mean, there are no bad seats at Arrowhead that I've seen, but Christ. That's a lot of scratch to be a half mile from the field.

You ever been to a game? That place is electric when the team is good. You can't replicate that at home. Not even with all your friends, neighbors, and family over. It's just not the same.

Those who haven't come out of the tunnel on the third deck and walked down to their seats probably think this seems high, but I've sat in various sections at all three levels and they are the best seats I've ever had. IMO it is much better than being on the goal line or in the corner down below.

Went to tons of games in 95, 98, and during the DV era...

I agree. But shit, I have been frozen, rained on and even burned up...

F all that noise. Nothing replaces my couch, multiple games on Sunday Ticket with Red Zone...

My very first game was oakland vs KC in 1989....

Row 2, corner end zone. In the corner, you're right on top of the field.

So, 30 yards away from his tickets, 1 row closer, and $500 less for 2 tickets? Endzone it is!

I'm sure as hell not spending $1600 on tickets and not holding the rights to them. That's the bigger issue, IMO.

I never liked the endzone. There is a lot of the game that happens away from you. So you can be watching from 100 yards away from the action. I have been in the endzone 2 times both were in the lower level. The upper level might be a little better as far as the angle goes. But I would rather have seats on the sidelines in the first couple of rows of the upper deck. Which is where I have set the most in the past.

And you can confirm with Nzoner - when I first had season tickets, the corner end zone seats were between $70-79 depending on the year.

Now they are the best value in the building.

Seems like a better idea for someone to just call and get their own. After talking to them Friday, they weren't lying, there really ARE some great seats available.

If I had the scratch right now, I'd try to get in your section with you. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait until Spring sometime to get tickets. That's what I'm hoping for though.

You need $200 right now. The remaining $880 is broken up in 6 payments Feb-July.

DO IT!

My understanding was you can't get seats as a new STH in between the 10's because they are all reserved for the upgrade program.

Yeah I had season tickets when we had Montana, Allen, DT and Smith. That stadium rocked and rolled every week. The fans felt they were part of the defense when making all the noise.

Besides the Super Bowl season, If you weren't there, you missed the golden age of being a Chiefs season ticket holder.

don't care. There is nothing wrong with those seats at all. Personally, I would want the row with only 2 seats in it.

007 01-06-2013 05:13 PM

Regardless, even if I was interested in this guys tickets, there is no way I purchase them WITHOUT the rights that go with them.

Pablo 01-06-2013 05:13 PM

I'm waiting until we draft a legit QB to even consider again. My buddy and I have had them the last couple of years. I'm not paying for shit until I get a QB. Then I'll gladly pony up.

The rights to the tickets are the big deal in this equation. I won't buy anything I can't continue to renew if they become good.

Yeah, I'd need two. The wife already okayed it. She'll probably come with me to most of the games. The only thing that bugs me is, what if they do another promotion with a jersey or something? We still get that, or are we punished for buying early?

NORMALLY it's a case of "if you've fully paid the invoice by a certain date". Though I can't speak for last year since I didn't have them then.

We were up there a ways for the MNF game. I enjoyed the game, and the view wasn't terrible. I mean, I'd love to get me some gblowfish tickets, but that won't happen for 30 years to even get in that section.

Pablo 01-06-2013 06:05 PM

I enjoy the view from the mid-field a ton more than the end zone.

End zone has it's own perks and is cool every now and then; but for an entire season I want to sit as close to the 50 as possible

ATM, my seats are on the 30. Row 24. Sunny side sucks though. **** the sun.

And for vendor discounts.. My discount equates to about 53dollars a seat in the lower bowl fifty yard line.. But even at that cost it was not worth it for me to buy last year..

Depending on who we draft this year, I might think about it and ask my buddies if they want in..

Good luck trying to sell this far out.. Generally you will be giving them away unless we become a playoff team..

BossChief 01-06-2013 06:13 PM

The only fair way to sell these without rights would be to not charge for the preseason games and discount the other tickets.

MAYBE 550 per ticket would get some interest...otherwise, someone can just spend that coin when single tickets go on sale and sit in much better seats. If you take out preseason...that means someone could go 97.50 per ticket if they don't care about the rights.
