Chiefs Offseason Planet Evaluation: Terrance Mitchell

Next up in our grading is cornerback Terrance Mitchell. Offer up your opinions about the guy who manned the right side.

Terrance played in 15 games with 9 starts. He recorded 47 tackles and 5 assists. He intercepted 4 passes for 0 yards, and had 18 passes defensed.

While he will likely never be a full time starter, I like him, has a good attitude and some scrap to him... I'd consider him very solid depth and give him a C+ with room to improve

Performed about as expected

Slightly smaller role next year

I believe he can get better

Drafted in the 7th but would need a 5th for a solid role player like him

Always wanted to see Rome, dont care about its dirty reputation, I wanna see the remains of the mighty Roman Empire, and hook up with some lusty Italian woman

I too am a fan of Terrance. He was going to be picked on a lot with Peters across the aisle, and he hung in there. I think he'll continue to improve, and there's a role for him on the team.

I could easily be talked into a B- or maybe even B

4 picks and 18 pd is a very good year for most CBs

I love the kid. I gave him a B+.

Oppisite of Peters. Absolutley no pass rush on D this year. Yeah, I'll take him any day.

I'm going to give him a C+ due to his improvement as the season wore on. He performed about as I expected, about the same, stable to maybe ascending. I'd want a 4th for him. Paris, it's always Paris.

I gave a D+. He still showed flashes. He didnt meet my expectations. Last year he finished off the season strong, and i thought that perhaps he would earn a solid role on the team going forward. He didnt. He couldnt even beat out terrible Philip Gaines to get on the field.

Paris is gay, I picked Rome.

I've always liked Mitchell. He's scrappy and he's got all the physical tools necessary to be a good corner.

That said, he definitely underperformed relative to his strong finish in 2016. I wonder if he'll ever be able to recapture that magic.
