College Students

So, classes started today here at nwosu. What kind of classes are the college students on here enrolled in? How many hours you taking? How long are you on campus for them?

I'm enrolled in 16 going M,W,F 8-12 with a 3 hr night class and a 2 hour thursday lab.

I have General Biology and lab, Middle Ages, American Colonial Period, Police Trafficing and Enforcement, and a 3 hour general humanities class.

Don't know anything about humanities, is it a type of art history class? The book for it is 180 bucks. Everything else was a lot cheaper. My sister spent well over 700 on her books.

I typically averaged 13-14 credit hours but they were mostly all Engineering courses. Tried to have T/R free if possible.

Books generally cost between $300-500 per semester but it was covered by the wonderful lottery players of the state of Florida. :D Once I was in grad school and had to pay it myself I'd buy the books in paperback for cheap from china.

Good lawd. And I thought books were expensive when I was in college.

I'm intrigued by the General Biology and Lab in the Middle Ages course. Do you experiment with whether witches float?

Yeah, its rediculous. You spend 700 on books and get back 200.

One of her books was well over 200.

I am in for 13 hours this fall.... I have to take English 202, Undergrade Research Project, Meterology and Oceanography, plus one cheesy flying class (which I already am rated for)...

After this semester, I have one Math class, biology and Flight Environment to take and I GRAD!!!!

Two more Semesters and I am DONE!!!!!

I really hate that part, some books i actually keep cause they are worthless to sell back. I try to post if someone wants to by them for half the value. Seems like almost every semester i have to buy a brand new book, ****ing college

I wish I had 30 hrs left, I have 68. I'm really kicking myself for goofing off my first couple years. I would have 34 if I wasn't an education major. If I try and take 15 from here on out with 8 hours of summer class I'll be done in two years.

That is why I like it when the professor will give you the ISBN, then you go out on amazon or ebay and purchase them for pennies on the dollar!
