Should we post our vacation pictures on Chiefs Planet?
 

Spinoff from another thread. I was curious what the Planet says on this issue.

I was of the opinion that posting vaction pictures on Chiefs Planet is not a path that I want to go down here in the community. Post them on Facebook.

Inmem58 thought other pics were posted on here all the time. What's the difference?

I'll be visiting Green Bay, Wisconsin the end of September -- and attending the NO/GB game.

Lambeau is ****ing cool. Highly suggest you take the stadium tour as well as the HOF exhibit in the basement of that stadium. Went up there a couple summers ago to see some family. They were having training camp at the time. It's weird because that stadium is located smack dab in the center of the town. And I say town because that's exactly what GB is. It'd be like if Arrowhead was located on the corner of 40/Noland Rd. There's nowhere to park unless you're a STH, and if you're not you have to try to find someone's house/yard and pay them $10 to park across the street in their driveway.

Let it go man. CP is a community an we have 'some interest' in what others are doing.

I think Sauto had a good point in the other thread... you took every chance you could get for months telling everyone you moved to Florida, posting pictures from your backyard or whatever, so if someone is going to make such a big deal out of one thred, it probably shouldn't be you.

We do have a pics forum and a couple of photography threads and I've seen countless vacation photos in the past... perhaps it should have been posted in the pics forum or one of those threads, but it's a random weekend in August, so it's not like it's cluttering up the front page.

In my experience, those who trend towards the sharing of every piece of minutiae about their lives here often fair poorly in the long run.

But I'm not going to do anything about it.

As far as vacation threads, I don't mind seeing someone's pics or reading about their experience. I do find it annoying when all of the pics are in the OP though. Other than that, I don't see a problem w/ it. :shrug:

Not a vacation, but this was my view last week for a few days. Kicked back at Flathead Lake, Bigfork, MT. Mixing a little business with pleasure. :) With that being said, I need a vacation!

Yes no thread and posting it could be the next bannable CP offense, you never know. But there are many stories about Joyland, and that is one. Another is someone climbed to the top of the Roller Coaster hill and jumped off. Alot of stories about drowning in the old pool, and bumper boats. Some about the Joyland skating rink at the back of the parking lot. That place has to be full of ghosts.

I have now been to 4 games in Lambeau, 2 were with the Chiefs playing. The comeback win in 2003 and the preseason game last year.

I kid you not, some idiots had their shirt off when it was 10 degrees for the whole game against the Bills.

They are cool up there, you won't have any hassles as long as you are respectful. I wore it to both the Chiefs games and had a great time.

There was a drunk last year wearing a Chiefs jersey that wouldn't set down and pissed a bunch of the locals off . I helped him avoid a serious ass beating.
