Maybe I’m just crazy but last Monday night during the first half of the game I was wearing blue shorts and a white t-shirt. I said to myself these are the colors of the Seahawks, so after the half I changed into some Red shorts and a gray T-shirt. That is when we started to come back and eventually win. Talk about weird.

I was recording the Denver game...when the Chiefs got down 19-7 I decided that I was jinxing them so I stopped reording...they came back to win...would they have won had I kept recording?...probably but I'm not taking any chances.... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Glad to see there are people just as superstitious as I am.

I have been known to switch TV's during a game thinking it might change things.

I have done the T.V. thing as well

i've been known to turn off the tube and go out in the garage, sit in the truck and listen to the game on the radio...

My son was born during the second half of the San Diego game. I'm convinced his birth heralds a new age for the Chiefs. Since he was born they are undefeated.

I was at home watching the game. For the past three weeks I have worn a Chiefs shirt that is a bit to small, but great to watch the Chiefs in. After half time I put it on. Wow, what a difference a Big man in a little shirt can make.

What the he11 were you doing wearing anything but red to watch the game, anyway?

htismaqe 10-05-2000 09:25 AM

OK here's wierd for ya.....

The first 2 games of the season I wore my Chiefs shirt from there divisional win back in 97 (?). Then on the 3rd game I switched to my Grbac jersey. we won http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif next week I was desperate when we were losing, I couldn't find my Jersey, then I found it in the dirty clothes. But needless to say I put it on and guess what? we WON!!! So needless to say I again wore it on monday night, still unwashed, and presto we did it agaibn.

At this point I will continue to were it till we lose. Question I have is should I wash it or not? and risk the bad luck?

(wife says if I don't she will make me watch the game from out side http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif )

AustinChief 10-05-2000 09:30 AM

Don't wash it.

Bob Dole wore a t-shirt the first 2 games, then switched to a Delaney jersey for games 3 and 4. Unfortunately, it's an away jersey, and Bob Dole felt compelled to wear red to the game Monday and bought a Morris jersey. Now Bob Dole is confused.

Perhaps Delaney for watching on the tube and Morris for in-person viewing is appropriate.
KC Jones 10-05-2000 09:30 AM

Hey John, don't wash it and by the end of the season it might not be red anymore...

And the esteemes Senator from Kansas makes a good point...what were you doing not wearing red?!!!!!

Naw, Not worried about the RED going away, as by the end of the year it should have enough BBQ sauce spilled on it to remain RED.

Well guys Guess it will remain unwashed as long as we keep winning, of course I might be watching the games all alone http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/frown.gif

Isn't it funny how we all are so superstious?

Anybody ever kick the wife out of the room 'cause she was watching and jinxing the Chiefs one week....

and then the next week demand that she start watching 'cause her not watching was jinxing the Chiefs? http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ah the life and times of a Blood Red Die Hard Chiefs Fan.

These are some funny stories.....

Big man in a little coat, that is so funny !!!

Man do I miss that wacky, zany Chris Farley.

LOL at the Wife thing.

I still insist mine caused the loss to the Raiders last year. She would watch and we were winning, then she would go do something and we would mess up. then when she left for work....we lost all hope.

LOL
