Seagate GoFlex Drive on a Mac

So I was given an older MacBook Pro and it still runs fantastic. The only problem is that my Seagate is read-only when it pops up on my Mac...

I started out using the GoFlex on a Windows 7 PC and I read it has to do with the NTFS/FAT32 settings on the drive as to why it's read only. I tried to download the Paragon software that the drive came with, but once I do that, the drive disappears all together.

Tech gurus, can anyone help Mac n00b out so that I can use my GoFlex with this MacBook?

Mac os x can read but not write to ntfs. You need to re-format as fat or exfat.

I'd try http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/

(has a 10-day free trial...)
