Don't give up on Croyle yet

He missed one game. If we are giving up on the kid this soon we will never have a shot in hell of being a successful franchise. It was a bruised kidney, and Herm wasn't going to expose him to that pass rush whilst banged up.

This intemperance is what allows a goon like Carl to still be employed.

first!!

No disagreement here, although the Chiefs are so awful that they MUST go BPA. If that's a QB, they have to make that pick.

Chiefspants 12-02-2007 08:30 PM

Yeah, I'm willing to go with at least one season with Croyle.

if it's okay with Kolby
it's okay with me

Amen, Mr. 'Hamas' Jenkins. All I want is a chance for him to play "his game" in front of Chiefs fans so they can see what he can do when he's allowed (and has time in the backfield) to do it.

Who has given up on him. I hope he starts the rest of the year.

to get killed? As much as I'd love to get Brennan we gotta go offensive line..draft and free agency

BigVE 12-02-2007 08:32 PM

Gonzo had a great game today but it was very very sad to see at one point late in the game Hu-tard had 173 yds passing and Tony G. had 140+ yds receiving. He has to spread it around a bit. Another thing about Hu-tard, he is so scared to get hit now (he gets hit alot) if the D even LOOKS at him wrong he goes into the fetal position. All this game did was CONFIRM that Brody is the man....unless Thigpen steps in. lol

With a line that isn't even mediocre, I would hesitate putting him in again this year. It will be extremely difficult to adjust to the game and develop for Croyle if he is constantly running for his life out there. Leave Huard out there as a sacrafice and start over next year with a (hopefully) improved line.

the way KC is going, and if Oher declares then he would be the BPA

Brodie's done. Washed up. Bring out the next lamb

Herm had better open things up for the rest of the season. I don't care if we lose or not. Just like TG said, open it up and see what you have.

KCFalcon59 12-02-2007 08:36 PM

It'll be the next coaches decision whether to keep Croyle around. This next draft, we have to repair the line and corners if at all possible.

FAX 12-02-2007 09:17 PM

Agreed, Mr. KCFalcon59. We just found out what happens if you sign a "superstar" running back and ignore the needs at oline. I would hope that the FO doesn't make the same mistake with a QB.

We don't need to sign skill players at this point. Rather, we should invest in an oline that will maximize the talents of the skill players we already have. Then, once that's in place, we can focus on WR, RB, and QB if needed.
