So according to DaFace he's going to close this thread since it's over 1000 posts. Great policy btw.

LMAO

If you believe a certain QB can be the Franchise you draft him in the 1st so don't **** around with that.

The Geno thread hit that and is at like 3,000 in its new thread.

From all the slobbering of Andrew Luck last year Geno Smith or any QB this year would have had to throw TDs on just about every drive this year to impress enough to get the #1 pick notoriety.

I feel like, more than anything, these statements by Dorsey and Reid are a message to the QBs that they better step up and compete, and it's already working. Geno is throwing at the combine, and I expect every other invited QB to do the same.

Also, I am hoping the message to the fans is to be patient with whatever rookie they bring out, not to be patient with the FO while they pass on rookies.

May be wishful thinking but that's how I see it.

Except they all agreed to participate before these comments.

There's a difference between just "participating" and actually performing well. You're telling me that the quarterback prospects who want to be #1 don't get any motivation from his comments?

I was referring to the "and it's already working" in the quote I was replying to.

Actually, Geno Smith announced he was participating fully in the combine AFTER Clark hunt complained specifically about him skipping the senior bowl. Soren Petro told him about it on air. And the next interview he did with Danny Parkins, Geno insinuated he was not pleased eight the advice he was given about skipping the bowl.

The chiefs have been very public that no QB has their favor. Every agent, prospect, and advisor knows it. This draft pick is up for grabs. Go win it.

When did Geno ever announce anything about not participating fully in the combine?

Do I have to drink the kool-aid to get the same delusions you people have?
