PS3 shenanigans
 

so, i've got an ex room-mate, right? took the kid in. homeless. sad-sack. forgive me, i'm a goddamned humanitarian.

took off with my ps3. i'm getting it back tomorrow. apparently, he broke it? something about "it doesn't stay on longer than 3 minutes". powers down, etc.

so he went and bought a brand new one, and is "giving" me the new one.

i guess he took the old one apart, trying to fix it himself. got flustrated and just bought a new one.

just wanting to know from you techies, is there anything i should look out for. like a bait and switch. etc etc.?

lesson learned. never have a roommate again. unless it's a chick. and she has big boobs.
