Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports the Atlanta Falcons are believed to be the frontrunners to acquire free agent LB Ed Hartwell (Ravens), according to Hartwell's agent Harold Lewis. Another undisclosed suitor is also believed to be pursuing Hartwell.

Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports the Cincinnati Bengals are unlikely to sign free agent LB Ed Hartwell (Ravens) because of tight salary cap restraints.

I just wish this guy would sign somewhere and be done with it.

Who cares anymore? Hartwell and his agent are nothing but money grubbing whores in my book. So to hell with him. We got Bell and Knight now let's focus on a corner back and move on.

I read a RUMOR on another board that the Patriots may be interested in Fujita...

I was reading a Pats board, and lots of the fans would rather have Fuj then pay a big SB for Hartwell. There thinking was that Fujita was already pretty good and has a lot of upside. Of course, they trust their coaches to develop that upside in production.
