I think it makes sense she's not a "dime piece." it works on the level that the women he's dated before are all hot as a product of Ted's status as an unreliable narrator. As well, it goes to show that it's chemistry over surface attraction that proves to the audience that she's the one.

She looked quote nice in the episode, kind of a Sicilian Alyson Hannigan.

Maybe it is because we finally get to hear her interact with people now. You actually get the personality to go with the looks.

This is the final season correct? I liked this show early on, now I'm ready for it to be over.
