Wrong.

I'm not shitting you here - talk to your vet, tell him/her everything you've said here and broach the subject of puppy tranqs.

That may well be what she needs at this point. If you can't get her calm, she's going to become more and more neurotic. Doping the dog up is better than giving it away.

I may try this route.

Do you still have the other dog? That may be why your JR is marking everywhere in the house.

Notoriously difficult breed.

Give a Jack a "small area of the yard to dig" LMAO A Jack will dig where ever he wants whenever he smells dirt he likes and before you can stop him the hole will be big enough to stick your head in.

I was suggesting it as an alternative to spending an hour a day walking the dog...because it takes less time and is more effective. If you supervise the dig...you can control where, when and how much he digs.
I have two chessies and I have no doubt they can dig circles around any JR. ..what they can't dig they take a big mouthful of dirt to remove and loosen it up. Forget a hole that is head size..... My dogs dig holes big and deep enough for a grizzly bear to make a den in.

you do have a dog door right so it can go in and out freely? jeezus 3 years and its still not potty trained, you need to hit the dog when it does it and let him know man.

Demonpenz 03-17-2013 08:36 PM

my friend has one...nooo way he was bugging the shit out of me all day.

nstygma 03-17-2013 08:55 PM

just get a remote controlled shock collar. when you catch him lifting his leg, hit the little button on the remote. he's smart, he'll learn after a few times.

Next time get a female.

The dog is marking his territory.

You need to make him feel warm and fuzzy so he knows he doesn't have to worry.

Or get a female dog.
