Yeah, my stomach turned a little at the dogs/slave scene, too. I don't know. Maybe he was just trying to hammer the point of how slaves were treated back then. He did push the envelope a few times.

That's kinda a dick thing to do to everyone else in the theater. I bet people leaving probably blocked the view of some people who wanted to check out the twig and berries!

i thought the movie was very well made.
i didn't find the language to be excessive or offensive at all.
one day spike lee will see it and like it.

If you like Tarantino movies, you'll love it.

I do, and I did. It was awesome. Sure didn't feel like nearly 3 hours. Hell of a lot of fun.

I'll by the DVD.

I loved it too, but thought it was about 15 minutes too long. I thought they could have cut the QT cameo scene with the Australian guys.

Yeah, can't really argue with that. Kinda felt like "Oh here's the obligatory Tarantino cameo." And then it just went on too long. But it's a very minor thing. Hell of a movie.

I almost feel like its a given now with QT movies, but the soundtrack was really good and well utilized. Everything from Jim Croce to hardcore rap.

Freaking awesome!!! I hate to admit it but I've seen it three times...of course my cousin manages a movie theater so I didn't have to pay for it. Yes, the "bag" posse was some of the funniest stuff ever! My wife and I just cry everytime we watch it!

But that was when Django used what Schultz taught him and got out of a sticky situation with nothing but his wits and badassery!
