What's the shittiest job you've ever had?

I know we're all millionaires here on ChiefsPlanet, and all of us have known nothing but success. It's astonishing how concentrated the professional success is on this website, it's basically Ladders.com Version 2.0, only we're all employed and we all are responsible for million dollar clients.

In fact, to remember the shit job you had to hold down at some point growing up, you probably have to take a long lunch today to visit a hypnotist for memory retrieval. Sure it costs more, but it's worth it. You have the money to burn.

So what did you do?

I worked a few really shitty jobs, but painting tennis courts was probably the worst. I did that when I was 17 years old for a pretty decent company, but it was shit work, dude. Jackhammering and laying down base and squeegee-ing paint for either the city of Springfield or Topeka (worst town evar, amiright?) or Broken Arrow or just some asshole's backyard.

Worst job evar.

How about you?

EDITED TO ADD: frankotank just PM'd me requesting that I declare him the winner of this thread for literally shoveling shit.

And, while this is not a competition, he wins and you all lose. Good day.

Picking up scraps of paper that had blown away at the dump.

When I was a kid I'd always hang out with the Hotel Manager at the hotel we lived in and did some side jobs, like wash the towels and sub for house maids when they were no shows.

However the shittiest job I'd do was clean the rooms at night after people would use the room for quickies so that way he could rent it again. Got 20 bucks a room so at 12 years old I was making good money.

Room always smelled like pussy...or cock...couldn't tell the difference at the time....

Working at the 1/2 Price Store in the toy department for a summer in high school. All these freakin little kids paying with shit and leaving it all over the place. It was walmart before there was walmart. I used to go in the back door of the grocery store next door, steal something to eat from the back, then go back to the 1/2 Price Store and hide in the back room and eat and read fishing and hunting magazines. Effin hated that place. $3.35 per hour baby

I've had the opportunity to do some jobs I didn't really appreciate and thought were shitty at the time, but in all honesty might not be that shitty. In no particular order:

1. Laying carpet (heh)
2. Blowing insulation in a billion year old church's attic.
3. Landscaping Specialist - the nice way of saying yard bitch. I worked over at Ft. Riley for a summer with a contractor doing the suckiest of suck lawn work (pulling a **** ton of weeds, picking up limbs, raking leaves, etc. etc.). This job truly did suck. I was stuck out in the 100+ degree heat with long pants on and gloves, doing shit I hated everyday. Makes me appreciate my cushy office job now.
4. Painted a few houses one summer while in high school. Wasn't very fun, and the pay (for some reason) sucked.
5. This one is kinda lame, but for a few months I worked at a "Market Research" center, i.e. we made calls all evening asking people for surveys. It was so damn monotonous, as we had to read everything verbatim every time. You get tired of talking after awhile.

Laying asphalt in the middle of summer... just one summer break in college so at least I knew I only had 3 months of it.

Now I love the smell of oil though... guess I learned to love it.

Yeah, that'd ****ing suck.

When I first started out at the shop I was the noob body guy. So naturally they gave me all the shitty fiberglass work.

****ing assholes.

I'd walk out into the sun and shimmer like some queer vampire from twilight...

I was a furniture delivery guy for 1 day in the summer between high school and college. It was super hot (the truck had no A/C), the pay was crappy, and we had to deliver a couch to the nastiest old cat lady house ever. You could smell the house FROM OUTSIDE! Also, the douchehole truck driver wouldn't stop so I could get some water or lunch so I really felt like crap at the end of the day.
