I earned a black belt in Tao Karate, and never learned one form.

Our teacher said it was a waste of time when you could be using that training time to actually learn how to fight.

He was right. We dominated all of the fancy schmancy schools who looked so robotic in their fighting styles, because they spent all of their time learning that BS.
