If this article is true then Smith is gone since that was the last thing keeping him from getting fired. They probably fell in love with his gaudy stats. He has a career QB rating of 92.1. Then again if you would project his career 9 passes out to a 500 pass season, he barely gets over 3000 yards even though he completes almost 78% of his passes.
