Mizzou-Vandy

What? Nobody watching the game tonight? Mizzou is up 3-0!

Bearcat 10-06-2012 05:24 PM

If UGA/SC and WVU/Texas are at commercial and there's nothing interesting to read here and nothing new on facebook and I don't have any texts or anything interesting to text and I don't have to go to the bathroom or grab another beer or something to eat, I'll be watching this one closely along with Nebraska/OSU.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:27 PM

They look good attacking the middle passing.

It's on ESPN3.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:30 PM

Even though it's a Fox game, somehow the ESPN ****s have it on PPV, so it's blocked out everywhere.

God I hate ESPN. 4321

pkane 10-06-2012 05:32 PM

It would be nice to get a damn touchdown.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-06-2012 05:32 PM

Vanderbilt/MU is on 686 DirecTV here.

I assume this is only an issue for people who aren't local.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:35 PM

Nice to get Elvis Fisher back this week.

I'm in AZ.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-06-2012 05:37 PM

Berkstresser is warming up, Franklin is hurt I guess. Just tuned in it's Vandy ball.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:37 PM

Quick update for people that can't watch. D looked good, forced 3 and out. Offense had no problem driving the field but stalled inside 20-30 and settled for FGs. Franklin might be hurt, Berk warming up.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:38 PM

Vandy moving backwards...

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:38 PM

Franklin going to the locker room. Looking at his knee.

****ing maddening.

Doesn't really impact me - I have my TV hooked up to the computer, so I'm watching it on the same screen I would if it was being shown normally. If I had set the DVR and wasn't home I'd be really pissed.

Dude's made of glass. We really need to move the **** on.

Spott 10-06-2012 05:40 PM

Berkstresser in. Game is on local tv here, channel 653 on Directv.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-06-2012 05:42 PM

Berk fumbled snap, Vandy ball.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:42 PM

Jesus Christ.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:42 PM

Fumble Berkstresser. I guess that's what happens when you take one snap a year from under center.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:43 PM

Dodged a bullet there.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:43 PM

Tricky bastards...

The good news is at least they're starting to do it.

However, doing it correctly would be a plus.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:44 PM

Really good D. Gave up nuttin.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:45 PM

Delay of game, move em back...

gblowfish 10-06-2012 05:46 PM

These guys are some tricky little bastards!

pkane 10-06-2012 05:46 PM

Nice punt. Had a feeling they were going to punt.

Spott 10-06-2012 05:48 PM

Damn, punting from our own 2.

No kidding. I would like to see them do it when we are in the red zone and goal line.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:49 PM

This is the price we pay for that idiot Pinkel continuing to roll out Brokelin every week - Berk never gets a chance to get comfortable as a starter.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:49 PM

Why burn a time out there? Saves a .5 yard

Priest31kc 10-06-2012 05:50 PM

Our offense is atrocious. Worst offense under Pinkel since he got here. JFC

Demonpenz 10-06-2012 05:51 PM

Mizzou basics.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:51 PM

Good lord. Bad snap my ass he just dropped it

Pinkel

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:51 PM

Great. :shake:

Spott 10-06-2012 05:51 PM

The one time the snapper actually snaps the ball good, it gets dropped.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:53 PM

Nice ST fail, too. ****.

qabbaan 10-06-2012 05:55 PM

Well, that was a comical sequence, but the defense is playing well and there is a lot of running room so far, we should be fine.

kepp 10-06-2012 05:56 PM

And initiate self-destruct.........NOW!

Keep giving the ball to Lawrence and we should be fine. He is getting around the edge with ease.

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:58 PM

At least the defense came to play.

pkane 10-06-2012 05:58 PM

Sheldon is a beast

Frazod 10-06-2012 05:59 PM

Still running it right up the middle. Gee, that'll surprise them. :banghead:

pkane 10-06-2012 06:01 PM

They look terrible with Berk at QB.

Spott 10-06-2012 06:01 PM

Got bailed out by a late hit there.

WilliamTheIrish 10-06-2012 06:02 PM

TD WVU. 21-7.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 06:02 PM

Defense will have to win this game I'm afraid. Offense will be sluggish.

WilliamTheIrish 10-06-2012 06:02 PM

Ah ****. Sorry guys. I was reading this thread when they scored.

qabbaan 10-06-2012 06:03 PM

Berkstresser needs glasses

Spott 10-06-2012 06:03 PM

Damn, he looks awful.

kepp 10-06-2012 06:04 PM

I think anyone who has been calling for Berkstresser to start has been given a dose of reality tonight.

gblowfish 10-06-2012 06:04 PM

Berk looks very Cassel-like tonight.

What's our alternative? Brokelin can't stay healthy for a quarter at this point.

I'm wasn't saying there was an alternative. Just that a dose of reality has been served.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-06-2012 06:09 PM

MU has some ballers on D.

DonkyPuncher 10-06-2012 06:10 PM

Nice not seeing the stupid qb option every down but wish they could get something rolling. On the other hand the defense looks good, they sure can tackle and get to the qb

Sure he looks like ass right now. He keeps coming in off the bench, too.

Frazod 10-06-2012 06:12 PM

But yeah, he looks terrible.

Spott 10-06-2012 06:12 PM

Lousy announcer can't pronounce my hometown of LS.

Very true...not an easy situation.

Spott 10-06-2012 06:13 PM

Can't believe we beat ASU with this guy at QB.

Frazod 10-06-2012 06:15 PM

Hard to imagine I could root for a team that has a worse offense than the Chiefs. :deevee:

DonkyPuncher 10-06-2012 06:16 PM

Jesus are there any good quarterbacks anywhere in Missouri??

Just Bradford, apparently.

Frazod 10-06-2012 06:18 PM

Brokelin broke for the rest of the game.

kepp 10-06-2012 06:18 PM

Ugh

pkane 10-06-2012 06:18 PM

Franklin out for game. That sucks.

DonkyPuncher 10-06-2012 06:18 PM

I could proly go to a local high school football game and see better quarterbacking then I do on Saturday's and Sunday's

Spott 10-06-2012 06:19 PM

Damn, the Alabama game was going to be bad enough. But if Franklin is out it's gonna be a massacre.

Yea Mizzou might as well stay at home for that one!!

CoMoChief 10-06-2012 06:20 PM

Franklin doing his best Croyle impersonation

pkane 10-06-2012 06:20 PM

D looking strong. Hope they can keep it up. Might need them for a pick 6 to get more points on the board at this point.
